Weekend Music - E nomine

Hope you are enjoying your weekend. I celebrated my son's second birthday today, which means I stuffed myself with lots of alcohol and lots of crap food. And I kept chasing him all day long to protect him from accidental self suicide. The little fucker gets crazier by the day 😂

Anyways, let's get on this weekend's music suggestion!

I told you I am mostly a metal head but I enjoy all kinds of different music. And today I have for you a unique band from Germany called E-nomine.

Their first release was in 1999 and their last in 2004. Now, their music is a really, really unique blend of trance, electronic dance, Gregorian chants, and other shit.

I got hooked to them from the first time I heard a song, which if memory serves me right was "Mitternacht" in an amv. Let's see if I can find it on YouTube.. It's been like 15 - 20 years since then..

Fuck, an amv that has aged like good old wine. What a fucking masterpiece!

Ok, I think by now you have a good taste of what to expect. Most of their songs are available on YouTube these days with enough digging so there's that too.

I just wish I knew German and Latin to enjoy their music at 100%. Yeah, not happening any time soon 😂

In 2008, the founders of E Nomine, Weller and Graner started a new project called Schlafes Bruder which just didn't feel the same to me.

I myself use to love metal! Absolutely loved it... I don't know why that changed as I grew up.. I still fancy the instrumentals of metalish music but the vocals started to annoy me... But the instrumentals are still giving me that powerful fucking feeling... Amazing shit.
