Looks like I missed this weekend's music recommendation!

So there's this mix mp3 CD I found a couple days ago in my old house, collecting dust. It's back from the early 2000s, and it's a compilation of songs residing mostly on the rock/metal side. Metallica, Maiden, Beatles, Iced earth, Doors, Beatles, Elvis and other classic shit.

No idea who compiled the music but he did a really good job.

Anyways, I can't understand the logic but there is a totally random euro house song that instantly got me hooked.

It's a single from 1995, called "Until all Your Dreams Come True" by Nina.

The full name of the singer is Nina Gerhard and other than this and a couple other singles, she doesn't seem to be very successful:

Nina Gerhard (born 10 December 1974),[1] also known as Nina, is a German singer best known as the voice of Captain Hollywood Project and for her 1994 hit "The Reason Is You".

Nina performed vocals on the Captain Hollywood Project single "More and More", which was a #1 hit in Germany and a top 20 hit on the Billboard Hot 100. Also the follow up single "Only with You". She later recorded the solo single "The Reason Is You", which was a #2 hit in the Belgian singles chart. Her follow-up single, "Until All Your Dreams Come True", peaked at #17. source

There's not much other info about her online, and her last album according to Spotify was in 2008. I guess she faded after that. I haven't heard it yet but I plan to.

It's a pity she didn't have more success, her voice is just magical and she does have good looks which is a nice bonus. I guess not all stars are meant to shine.

At least judging from the YouTube comments she still seems to have a Russian cult following. Or Ukraine. Can't tell the difference between the two languages 😂
