The Power Of Music (WE #135)

There is a song, that came into my life, a few years back. A friend, was traveling at the time and we stayed in contact by sending music to one another. This song, was one of the ones I received. After listening to it, I couldn't wait to try singing it.

I love to sing and I really believe, that if I am to project my voice, to send it out into the world, then I should do so, whilst sharing a positive message. Something that will raise the vibration.

After being a part of a few singing circles, I have felt and experienced the powerful effect that singing has on us. How it can lift the energy, how it can influence the mood. So put it to good use and spread some positive, empowering vibes.

That's exactly what this song does and when I sing it, I feel so at peace and connected with the universe. One of my favorite places to sing it, is high up in the mountains. Like an offering, my voice carried up into the sky.

When I sing it, I feel every word. It has helped me, to transform my pain and grief. To let it all go and be empowered.

The first and only time I attended a family constellation, this is one of the songs they played. It was at the end, of my own personal constellation. This song, is what they choose to represent my healing, my transformation as I finally got to give my child self, the love that she deserved.

The moment it began to play, I broke down in tears. I had just watched my childhood played out in front of me, by people I did not know and now this song. It blew me away. I felt so seen, for one of the very first times in my life.

Seeing things from the outside, really brought so much more awareness and understanding. It allowed me to really process and let go. The most powerful moment, was hearing this song play, that I had been singing for a year or two.

My middle daughter, will put this song on, if she notices that I am stressed or sad. She knows how much it means to me and how it really reaches into my heart and opens me up more, to love.

It is so simple, but so powerful.

Just today, I attended a women's circle. We begun, by choosing three things that we wished to leave behind. Then we went around the circle, so that we could each say, what three things we choose and I kid you not, when it came to me, The Power Is Here Now, began to play.

So when I read the following question, as part of the latest Weekend-Engagement Challenge, well it was a no brainer, what I would choose. It had already chose itself.
