Music To Dance To

Today, as part of Three Tune Tuesday, I wanted to share some of the music I listen to, when I walk home after work. It's more upbeat than the music I listen to in the morning. Morning time for me, is all about gratitude, so I like to listen to music that reflects that.

Walking home, I like to dance. Yeah I might be feeling a little tired, but that's nothing some awesome beats can't sort out. I like to arrive home to my girls, energised.
So what follows, are three songs that always make me bust a move, as I'm walking home.

First up is "Baiana" by Barbatuques,
A group of Brazilian body percussionists, that also use their voices, as well as a mouth harp on this track. The original is a folk song from Bahia, Brazil.

This song just always gets me up on my feet. I love the whole arrangement of it. How they use their voices and body to create so many layers. There are a lot of really good remixes of this song, but I prefer this version.

Next up is a "I'm Free" by Symbolico, an Israeli producer and DJ. This track, I listen to when I want to dance, as in really dance. This is definitely one to listen to with the volume turned up. It starts of nice and slow, that it builds up.

When the lyrics come in, I'm up and dancing. I do like pystrance music, all the wonderful sounds that are weaved together and this track has a lot of great sounds in it. It's also a great track to listen to, as you drive especially if you are going dancing. And who doesn't want to dance along to the words, " I'm Free".

Finally I leave you with Brisa, by Joaquin Cornejo, an really cool Ecuadorian producer and DJ. Who makes really great tribal beats, alongside classical and traditional sounds. Another producer that weaves beautiful beats and sounds together.

This track is a whole vibe, with its Latino flavour, smooth beats and strings, such a beautiful blend. I love to groove to this tune.

So there you have it, my three tunes. Shout out to @ablaze for starting this wonderful initiative, back in the day.
Happy dancing!

I love the idea of dancing while on my way anywhere. It's a bit weirder in the street of a city than it is in the country, I'm sure, but I've enjoyed it a lot when I've done it. Should do it more! Thanks for the recommendations!

Yeah it's easier to get away with things like that in the countryside. Still like to dance in cities though xxxx
