VIBES WEEK 1 - JERICHO BY INIKO (cover)

I am so thrilled to be participating in the Vibes Web 3 music competition thanks to the visionary efforts of @lordbutterfly As a Hive musician and vocalist, I am grateful for opportunities that allow upcoming artists like myself to showcase our talents to new audiences.

For this week of the competitions, I have chosen to perform "Jericho" by “Iniko.” The driving beat and hypnotic vocals of this song instantly transport me into a musical trance. Iniko's unique style is the perfect blend of rhythms and contemporary pop.

What draws me most to "Jericho" is well pronounced beats and soulful lyrics. As Iniko soulfully sings, “I had vision from.the grey’s they wanna co-sign” I connect deeply to the song's themes of struggle and freedom kindof.

Music has always been my creative outlet and form of release from the tensions of everyday life. I am moved by any song that is raw and reveals the heart of the artist. Iniko definitely pours out her soul through her musical messages.

I have been diligently rehearsing my rendition of "Jericho" over the past days leading up to the competition. This musical journey is just beginning and I am pumped for each opportunity to develop my artistic gifts.
