Among the activities was the concert performed by the popular Cuban singer Waldo Mendoza, who, by the way, celebrated 20 years of his cultural peña at the singing coffee.

The concert was scheduled for 4 o'clock in the afternoon this Saturday and, in addition to the main activity, several activities took place, many of which were courtesy of the workers of the coffee, as a thank you to all those who have participated with them in the activities of the place over the years.

For the concert we left the house early because the entrance to the place was on a first come, first served basis and this singer-songwriter is very popular and has a very loyal audience that always accompanies him wherever he goes. I remember that, for Mother's Day the previous year he gave a concert at the Havana Amphitheater which is much bigger than this place and it was full. So, having this background we did not want to be late.

Despite arriving early there was already a large crowd waiting to get into the concert.
At 4pm we started to enter and everything was ready to spend a spectacular evening. My wife, a friend and I managed to get seats and were able to enjoy all the activities, both sitting and dancing.

Among the activities were participation contests, raffles, controversies between repentista singers, music to listen to and dance to, among others.

It should also be noted that the workers of the place gave us a tasty coffee and an exquisite welcome cocktail. They also offered food, beer and cocktails to liven up the activity.

The highlight of the activity was the concert performed by the host of this day Waldo Mendoza, who had several guests, including Vania Borges, excellent Cuban vocalist and great friend of the interpreter.

It was a spectacular day, in which we were able to enjoy the interpretative quality of Waldo Mendoza and delight ourselves with a different and very joyful weekend activity.
