Cómo se encuentran amigos de esta grandiosa comunidad de Music? Espero bien.
Estaba deseoso de presentar un nuevo video, el cuál estuve preparando desde el fin de semana pasado. El tema que interpretaré a continuación es de la legendaria banda estadounidense Metallica; ellos no necesitan mucha presentación.

Desde que me inicié en HIVE he hecho varios covers de esta banda especialmente de temas del conocido como "The Black Album". Los covers fueron correspondientes a los temas "Sad but True", "The Unforgiven", "Wherever I May Roam", "Nothing Else Matters" y "The God That Failed". En este oportunidad interpretare para ustedes el primer tema del álbum, el cuál se titula "Enter Sadman".

How are you friends of this great Music community? I hope well.
I was eager to present a new video, which I have been preparing since last weekend. The song I will be performing next is by the legendary American band Metallica; they don't need much introduction.

Since I started in HIVE I have done several covers of this band, especially of songs from "The Black Album". The covers corresponded to the songs "Sad but True", "The Unforgiven", "Wherever I May Roam", "Nothing Else Matters" and "The God That Failed". In this opportunity I will interpret for you the first song of the album, which is titled "Enter Sadman".

"Enter Sadman" fue compuesto en la tonalidad de Em y es un tema bastante "pegajoso" con riffs sencillos que transmiten mucha energía. El solo igualmente es dinámico basado en escalas pentatonicas, acordes a dos cuerdas así como double stops.

Para su ejecución es necesario utilizar el efecto Wah-Wah. Una vez cuando interpreté el solo del tema "Sweet child O' mine" les comentaba que no cuento con el pedal que me ofrece este sonido, entonces opté por recrearlo con el multiefectos que suelo utilizar. Tengo que reconocer que el sonido resultante dista de ser el que desearía pero una vez más no quise detenerme por eso; muchas veces la intención también cuenta.

"Enter Sadman" was composed in the key of Em and is a very "catchy" song with simple riffs that transmit a lot of energy. The solo is also dynamic based on pentatonic scales, two-string chords and double stops.

For its execution it is necessary to use the Wah-Wah effect. Once when I played the solo of the song "Sweet child O' mine" I told you that I don't have the pedal that offers me this sound, so I chose to recreate it with the multi-effects that I usually use. I have to admit that the resulting sound is far from what I would like, but once again I didn't want to stop for that reason; many times the intention also counts.

En un intento de lograr hacer un cover lo más parecido posible al tema original me ví forzado a grabar varios fragmentos puesto que mi pedal no me permite cambiar de efectos con facilidad ya que por ser muy antiguo suele presentar fallas en ocasiones cuando intento cambiar los efectos. Son situaciones que he intentado que no pasen pero se escapa de mis manos.

Lo cierto es que entre estos fragmentos, al final de cuentas, todo se torno súper complejo para mí, pero bueno, ahí estuve "batallando" para lograr una edición decente.

In an attempt to make a cover as close as possible to the original song, I was forced to record several fragments since my pedal does not allow me to change effects easily, as it is very old and tends to fail sometimes when I try to change the effects. These are situations that I have tried to avoid, but it's out of my hands.

The truth is that between these fragments, at the end of the day, everything became super complex for me, but well, there I was "struggling" to achieve a decent edition.
