Este es el solo que me motivó a volver más fuerte! Sin duda este es el tema que levantó mis ánimos en estos momentos en qué mas lo necesito.

Voy a darle continuidad a mi serie de solos legendarios de guitarra con el solo del tema "Wherever I may roam" de Metallica, perteneciente al Black Album. Sin darme cuenta ya he publicado varios solos de este álbum y es que todos los solos son buenísimos! Espero algún día haberlos publicado todos, ya van 5 de 12 temas que componen el álbum, veremos si puedo lograrlo.

I am going to give continuity to my series of legendary guitar solos with the solo of the song "Wherever I may roam" by Metallica, from the Black Album. Without realizing it I have already published several solos from this album and it is that all the solos are great! I hope one day to have published them all, there are already 5 of 12 songs that make up the album, we'll see if I can achieve it.

Me decidí a aprenderme este solo en estos días que no han sido nada fáciles para mí, el tema en si me dió la energía necesaria para abordarlo, siempre he dicho que no es nada fácil tocar estos géneros cuando uno está desganado, sin embargo dejé atrás todo y fui por él.

Uno de los inconvenientes fué que Kirk Hammett, guitarrista de Metallica, toca este solo con Wah Wah y ya les había comentado que esto siempre ha sido un impedimento para mí ya que no estoy acostumbrado a tocar con efectos, salvo la distorsión, pero como hace poco había publicado los solos "Sweet Child O' Mine" de Gun's and Roses de los cuales uno de ellos lo toque con Wah Wah y no me pareció tan desastroso, entonces me dije porque no internado de nuevo con este solo.

I decided to learn this solo in these days that have not been easy for me, the song itself gave me the necessary energy to tackle it, I have always said that it is not easy to play these genres when one is listless, however I left behind everything and went for it.

One of the drawbacks was that Kirk Hammett, Metallica guitarist, plays this solo with Wah Wah and I had already told you that this has always been an impediment for me since I am not used to playing with effects, except for distortion, but how does I had recently published the solos "Sweet Child O' Mine" by Gun's and Roses, one of which I played with Wah Wah and it didn't seem so disastrous to me, so I said to myself why not try again with this solo.

El efecto Wah Wah no viene de un pedal como los que utilizan estos grandes guitarristas, sino de un pequeño procesador de sonidos que utilizo, de manera que el efecto que obtengo dista bastante del original.

Para este tema cambié el tipo de distorsión pues me pareció un tanto más acorde al tema pero solo para la guitarra rítmica; no puedo hacer sonar bien 2 notas seguidas de un solo con esta distorsión (risas); es la primera vez que modifico la distorsión para un vídeo en HIVE.

The Wah Wah effect doesn't come from a pedal like the ones these great guitarists use, but from a small sound processor that I use, so the effect I get is a far cry from the original.

For this song I changed the type of distortion because it seemed a bit more in line with the song but only for the rhythm guitar; I can't get 2 notes in a row of a solo to sound good with this distortion (laughs); It is the first time that I modify the distortion for a video in HIVE.
