Hola amigos míos! Cómo les va? Yo bien, aquí practicando un poco.
Siempre me ha gustado el metal neoclásico, de hecho, cuando tenía 15: años un amigo de la universidad me regaló un cassette con la música de un guitarrista solista, asegurándo que me gustaría mucho.

Cuando escuché aquello quedé perplejo! Yo apenas aprendida a tocar la guitarra. A medida que pasaban las canciones entendía cada vez menos lo que estaba pasando, la verdad mi cerebro no asimilaba cómo alguien podía hacer sonar la guitarra de esa manera; quedé enamorado!

I have always liked neoclassical metal, in fact, when I was 15: years old, a friend from university gave me a cassette with the music of a solo guitarist, assuring that I would like it very much.

When I heard that I was shocked! I just learned to play the guitar. As the songs went by I understood less and less what was happening, the truth was that my brain couldn't assimilate how someone could make the guitar sound like that; I fell in love!

Aquel guitarrista era nada más y nada menos que Yngwie Malmsteen. Desde ese entonces me dedique a tratar de entender algunas cosas de su música, practicando ciertas cosas relacionadas con su estilo, luego deje esto a un lado, actualmente es mi guitarrista favorito, he escuchado todos sus álbumes pero me limito a escucharlo, ya no intento sacar sus canciones porque es una tortura, aunque no descarto que retome algunas frases que saque de algunos temas e intenté tocar algún tema completo aunque seguramente "muera" en el intento (risas).

Me pasa que cuando escucho a este tipo de guitarristas uno se siente chiquitico, es inevitable porque en realidad asi lo es, sin embargo, de igual manera verlo tocar consigue motivarme. Mi sueño de adolescente era llegar algún día a tocar como Yngwie Malmsteen pero quedo en un sueño, sencillamente no se puede.

Since then I dedicated myself to trying to understand some things about his music, practicing certain things related to his style, then I put this aside, he is currently my favorite guitarist, I have listened to all his albums but I just listen to him, I don't try anymore releasing their songs because it's torture, although I don't rule out taking up some phrases that I took from some songs and I tried to play a complete song even though I would surely "die" in the attempt (laughs).

It happens to me that when I listen to this type of guitarists one feels small, it is inevitable because in reality it is so, however, in the same way seeing him play motivates me. My teenage dream was to one day play like Yngwie Malmsteen but it's just a dream, it's simply not possible.

No obstante, hoy quise construir una melodía con este estilo e improvisar algunas cosas para rememorar lo que intentaba hace algunos años.

Fue interesante pero a la vez frustrante intentar hacer un solo de este estilo porque no salió como yo queria, aunque lo intentará mil veces! pero me queda la satisfacción de hacerlo intentado para ustedes, no tengo la paciencia necesaria para intentar varias veces, tengo ese defecto, además los años van pasando y no me siento con la energía para practicar este estilo constantemente; ya estoy un poco viejo tal vez (risas).

However, today I wanted to build a melody in this style and improvise some things to recall what I was trying to do a few years ago.

It was interesting but frustrating at the same time trying to do a solo like this because it didn't turn out the way I wanted, although he will try a thousand times! but I have the satisfaction of trying it for you, I don't have the necessary patience to try several times, I have that defect, also the years go by and I don't feel with the energy to practice this style constantly; I'm already a bit old maybe (laughs).
