Continuando con la serie de solos que marcaron una época, está noche quisiera hacer un humilde homenaje a la banda WARRANT, en especial a su exvocalista Jane Lane, fallecido en 2011 a sus 47 años de edad; yo fiel al Glam Metal, uno de mis géneros favoritos del Metal como ya les había comentado en publicaciones anteriores.

Esta banda la recuerdo con mucha nostalgia, puesto que de adolescente la escuché por primera vez en la radio en un programa nocturno, solían seleccionar dos bandas de rock, colocaban algunos temas y entre canciones hablaban un poco de la historia las agrupaciones.

Continuing with the series of solos that marked an era, tonight I would like to pay a humble tribute to the band WARRANT, especially its former vocalist Jane Lane, who died in 2011 at the age of 47; I faithful to Glam Metal, one of my favorite Metal genres as I had already told you in previous posts.

I remember this band with a lot of nostalgia, since as a teenager I heard it for the first time on the radio in a night program, they used to select two rock bands, they put some songs and between songs they talked a little about the history of the groups.

En esa oportunidad, recuerdo claramente que las bandas seleccionadas fueron WARRANT y MEGADETH, de está última ya había escuchado bastantes canciones pero WARRANT no la conocía. Por suerte grabé en un cassette ese programa y tuve la oportunidad de escuchar los temas una y otra vez y la verdad me gustó demasiado.

Pase mucho tiempo sin escucharlos hasta hace algunos años que haciendo memoria di con el nombre y ya con el internet pude volver a escuchar esos temas que tanto me gustaban y otros muy buenas que nunca había escuchado; fue como viajar al pasado. Siento mucha admiración por Jane Lane ya que compuso casi toda la música de WARRANT mientras estuvo en la banda y sus actuaciones en vivo eran increíbles con una voz destacada.

On that occasion, I clearly remember that the selected bands were WARRANT and MEGADETH, I had already heard a lot of songs from the latter but WARRANT didn't know it. Luckily I recorded that program on a cassette and I had the opportunity to listen to the songs over and over again and I really liked it too much.

I spent a long time without listening to them until a few years ago when, remembering, I found the name and now with the internet I was able to listen to those songs that I liked so much and other very good ones that I had never heard; It was like traveling to the past. I have a lot of admiration for Jane Lane as she wrote almost all of WARRANT's music while she was in the band and her live performances were amazing with outstanding voice.

En este momento es la 1:03 am y hace 1 hora aproximadamente termine de grabar el solo (con mi novia durmiendo al lado por cierto) de uno de sus mayores exitos el cual se titula "Heaven" del álbum debut de estudio Dirty Rotten Filthy Stinking Rich de1989. Curiosamente el solo fue grabado por el guitarrista Mike Slamer que no pertenecía a la banda, solo fue un colaborador.

Me atrevo a decir que de las publicaciones que tengo está ha sido la que he hecho con más nostalgia, nunca había grabado a estás horas. El solo lo saqué hace un par de días y esta noche se prestó para que esté artículo fluyera, no quise dejarlo para mañana.

At this moment it is 1:03 am and approximately 1 hour ago I finished recording the solo (with my girlfriend sleeping next to it by the way) for one of his biggest hits which is titled "Heaven" from the debut studio album Dirty Rotten Filthy Stinking Rich from 1989. Curiously, the solo was recorded by guitarist Mike Slamer who did not belong to the band, he was just a collaborator.

I dare say that of the publications that I have, this has been the one that I have done with the most nostalgia, I had never recorded at this time. I only took it out a couple of days ago and tonight it was provided for this article to flow, I didn't want to leave it for tomorrow.
