He Gave the World Music, We Gave Him Pain
While I was surfing the Internet this morning, I came across some videos that talked about Michael Jackson. As I watched, I couldn’t help but feel sad about how people treated him, especially the media. It made me think deeply about how human beings can go to any length just to sell a story, gain attention, or make money, even if it means spreading lies or causing another person pain.

Michael Jackson was not just a talented musician; he was also a human being with feelings. But many people in the media didn’t care about that. They created stories, twisted facts, and told lies about him just because it sold newspapers or brought views to their shows. It didn’t matter to them how much it affected Michael or how it damaged his name. As long as they were making money from his pain, they didn’t stop. This shows how dangerous propaganda can be when it’s used without conscience.
Some even went as far as saying his death was fake. Up till today, there are still rumours flying around that he is hiding somewhere or that he faked his death just to escape the pressure. Imagine that. A man who spent most of his life trying to make the world better with his music, a man who faced so much pain and judgment, couldn’t even be allowed to rest in peace. People just want to talk because they know any story about Michael Jackson will attract attention, and that attention means money.
The most painful part is that many of these lies were told when he was alive, and he had to live with the pain of people believing what was not true. The media made up stories about his skin, his lifestyle, and even the way he looked. They called him names, mocked his voice, and spread false accusations. But Michael still forgave them. He said he had forgiven his father and also tried to show love despite all the hate.
It’s sad that we live in a world where people no longer care how their actions affect others. As long as it benefits them, they don’t mind who suffers. This should be a lesson to all of us. Before we share or believe anything we see online, we should think twice. Behind every story is a real person, and lies can destroy a life.
