Hi hive,

Just an update and something I’ve been praying for in regards to my music on Spotify, I’ve finally had one of my songs put on someone’s playlist!

Here’s the song on YouTube that has been playlisted:

This was recorded at my friend @purplesinger, using an apple iMac and logic.

From now on and until she has spare time I’ll be using this iPad and garage band and a shure microphone designed for use with an iPad.

Garage band seems quite good and I’m looking forward to getting the mic and recording more as when recording, like when painting, time flys by.

I have five songs on Spotify, here’s the link in case you’d like to check them out:

I hope to get somewhere with the music, but sad to say it comes in waves and for weeks on end I don’t even pick up the guitar, I’ll have to improve on this.

I really don't know how to promote music. I can't reach enough people via social media to make much impact and for now I'm not looking to pay for someone else to do it.

I've heard Garage Band is good. Have fun with it.

It looks like it'll do everything I need it to, just need to get the mic.

Maybe do another post some time with pics of the mic and any other gear you use. People like all the geeky stuff.

I may get a better interface soon. Having the right gear makes life easier.

With the garage band on the iPad, it’s just this specially made shure mic, I’ll do a pic of my setup at the end of the month when I get it. Going to record everything acoustically, so no real interface just the mic into the iPad.
