Metallic but Heavenly

Hello Hivers!

How are you now after witnessing the effects of LPA in your place? I hope you’re as good as a fine horse that keep on kicking and galloping.

What’s happening to our climate is somehow a reminder for us that we are not the master of the house. There is a One and truly the Alpha of all. You know already what I mean! Don’t you?

But my blog today is not a continuation of my last. I like to glide away from it for now. If you have read my introblog, you know already that I love music all the time.

Like climate, MUSIC is always changing. It can be fine, smooth and easy, harsh, full of rage, savage, or just plain feeling of goodness that soothes your ears. This is what happened while I'm with the music.

One morning, as I am doing my thing as a husband in the house, I call it “housebandry” to refer to house chores, my mind thought to do the job along with the music. My usual thing in the morning is to wash clothes.

While doing it, I stumbled upon hearing the lyrics of the song “Higher” by the rock band Creed. Here are some of the lyrics of the song:

Although I would like our world to change
It helps me to appreciate
Those nights and those dreams
But, my friend, I’d sacrifice all those nights
If I could make the Earth and my dreams the same
The only difference is
To let love replace all our hate

So let’s go there
Let’s make our escape
Come on, let’s go there
Let’s ask, “Can we stay?”

Can you take me higher
To a place where blind men see?
Can you take me higher
To a place with golden streets.

I’m sure you realize now my point of having the title of this blog. I know some you don't like this kind of music. Actually it's post grunge and an alternative rock song. It is but a loud and noisy kind of song but deep inside of it is a tone of realization and reflection. It offers a meaningful rendition of self actualization. It shares a path of self redeem that somehow you can get out from your own darkness and get to know yourself better than ever.

Anyway, you can download the song if you like to hear it yourself and see what meaning you can have out of it.

Music is all there is!

The lyrics says it all. I'm not a singer, I don't have a golden voice, but I love listening music whatever it's genre ,especially when I can relate to .
