Hey Jude
Hello hivers!
Probably you missed me already since I’ve been away for too long. You know life is lifer when you devote yourself to “busyness” business. What I mean is my so called ‘housebandry’. These are things that come along the way that you are unaware of.
Anyway here I am now, the one that you love. How are you people? I hope everybody is doing great beyond what’s life has to offer.
My offer for you at this moment is a name that you read and read throughout your feeds all the time in socmed. I bet you know what and who I meant for this one. But mine here is all about music.
I thought that this would linger in your ears as it is usually sang in karaoke machines by oldies and probably some GenZs. However what and how it happened that this song was created is not related to what is trending now. The name is totally the same but of different story.
Here is the lyrics of the song:
“Hey Jude”
*Hey, Jude, don’t make it bad
Take a sad song and make it better
Remember to let her into your heart
Then you can start to make it better
Hey, Jude, don’t be afraid
You were made to go out and get her
The minute you let her under your skin
Then you begin to make it better
*And anytime you feel the pain,
Hey, Jude, refrain
Don’t carry the world upon your shoulders
For well you know that it’s a fool
Who plays it cool
By making his world a little colder
Nah, nah nah, nah nah, nah nah, nah nah
Hey, Jude, don’t let me down
You have found her, now go and get her
Remember to let her into your heart
Then you can start to make it better
So let it out and let it in,
Hey, Jude, begin
You’re waiting for someone to perform with
And don’t you know that it’s just you,
Hey, Jude, you’ll do
The movement you need is on your shoulder
Nah, nah nah, nah nah, nah nah, nah nah yeah
The background story of this song and why it was composed by Sir Paul McCartney is all about the issue on divorce and its effect on kids being left or abandoned by a parent. This issue is also present today as the divorce bill is being pushed forward by some lawmakers to make it legal in our country.
John Lennon who was a band mate of McCartney left his wife Cynthia and found another woman Yoko Onno. Julian Lennon, his son, at that time was only five years old during the divorce.
McCartney saw the effects of the event to the kid and showed concerns for him. Can you imagine now how life had been for that kid? This had become his basis for composing the song. This is his statement:
I started with the idea “Hey Jules,” which was Julian, don’t make it bad, take a sad song and make it better. Hey, try and deal with this terrible thing. I knew it was not going to be easy for him. I always feel sorry for kids in divorces…
-Paul McCartney, 1997
Later on he made it into Hey Jude as it sounded a bit better. The Beatles recorded the song and the world sing along with it.
Sometimes I sing this in karaoke together with some friends who knows the song. I really love this song when I was a kid and up until now. How about you? Are you familiar with the song?
Talking about the divorce bill, what’s your stand with the divorce bill?
If you were Jude, what kind of Jude you would be, Sir/Ma’am?

Loved to know that from you mam! After all music cross boundaries beyond many generations ❤️
I understand the point of view of the song Sir @tingjepe about Divorce and its effect especially if there's kid involve in the relationship. But, what's the point of staying in the relationship if it is toxic and abusive. I think it is more traumatizing for the children seeing the mother being punched by the father. Point of view rah nah Nako Sir hehe agree ko sa Divorce Bill
Yup! totally, definitely, and undeniably it's a very fact of the very issue...

somebody will get hurt
It's all in the yinyang circle!
