"Turkish Delight" by The Trouble Notes - Cerebral Renaissance Office Sessions [World Indie Cumbia]

A lot has changed for The Trouble Notes this year as many of you have seen! Now that the team has been together for a few months, we wanted to film some high quality live performances to showcase the band and the music from our new album "Liberty Awaits". This song, "Turkish Delight", has been a favorite of many of the critics as it draws influence from different world musical styles that have grown popular in the indie rock genre. A mix of Cumbia, Turkish Psychedelic and Indie Rock come together in a piece that can be described as Progressive World Fusion.

This video is the first release of a live session that we are calling "Cerebral Renaissance Office Sessions". The name has origins back before the birth of The Trouble Notes, as a long term vision of Bennet while in his apartment in New York City, a dream of creating a new sound by juxtaposing the classical art forms with the technology of the future. As we continue careening toward the great unknown, art and its form will continue to drive innovation and be the conduit for the human experience.
