Pushing the bounds of our Creativity

Hey Hivers!

We came back to Radebeul entered the studio with fresh energy and ideas and a mandate to create a new sound for 2024. Last year much of our repertoire was comprised of tracks from Liberty Awaits. It was special telling those stories and sharing the music that we had written after two years of lockdown. While on our many tours last year, we had the chance to speak with some of you about what you liked about our music and what you wanted to hear more of, and we took that to heart. We have thought back to those conversations and experiences and drawn inspiration on how to define our future sound, one that draws on the energy and cinematic sounds of our past and progresses into a more modern future. This month we are pushing the bounds of our creativity, experimenting with new sounds while using a commitment to our core vision as a compass!

A short term goal is to have some new music ready to debut at our concerts this Spring. We will travel to Belgium, England, Netherlands, France and parts of Germany. Find all of our tour dates here

We will experiment with these new tunes and sounds both at our concerts and at random moments in the streets.

We also have to share some really exciting news with you, SOS Children’s Villages has put a spotlight on our More Violins, Less Violence campaign. We ended last year having raised more than 5000 Euros for their Ukraine Fund, helping support children who have lost their parents as a result of the continuing war in Ukraine. And while it is great to take a moment and be proud of ourselves, we also have to give thanks to all of you who supported the campaign by buying one of our shirts throughout the year. Our goal is to double the amount we have raised this year and would appreciate if you could help spread the word about the campaign.

AND, as we are still planning out the year, we have some EXCITING news for all our American Troublemakers! We are considering a return in October & November of this year. This time we want to include TEXAS!!!! In order to make this tour happen though, we will need to secure 10-15 shows by the end of this month, so that we can cover visa & flight expenses. The start of our tour will be October 5th in Surgeon Bay Wisconsin where we were asked to play a festival..

We are seeking new opportunities for this year and are grateful for any ideas you may have for us. So please reach out to us if you have a great venue in mind or would like to host a private concert or adopt us on one of our tour stops this year.
