Vibes Competition Entrance - "Sariette" original song from The Trouble Notes week 4
Hey Vibes and 3speak music community!
This week we wanted to share something with you that is truly special. We had actually made this video specifically for the 3rd week of the Vibes contest but were unable to submit it in time because of the demands of our tour schedule this month in the UK. The nature of being on the road is that you don't always have the disposable time and resources to be able to accomplish everything you set out to do each week.
This was played and filmed inside of the Milbury's pub in Bishop's Waltham, UK. We were taken here by some friends on an "off day" in between concerts and took one listen to the acoustics in this room and said "we need to film here..." What you are seeing is a 250year old Treadmill which was errected about a 300 foot stone well. We lowered a microphone into the well to pick up the natural reverberation of the chamber and played a new piece from us called "Sariette", a progressive version of which will be released in the next month on all of our digital streaming platforms.
We hope you enjoy listening to this piece and it will excite you to listen to the produced version in the next weeks. If you are living in the UK or Netherlands and are able to come to a show this month, we would LOVE to have you in attendance. Changed everything for week 4. Weren't able to get ourselves on stable internet until last night unfortunately. Part of the nature of traveling so much. Thought we would just submit anyway since we'd taken the time to film it.
