Just Like Clay - Shake Myself Alive

Sharing something very special with you right now! A few weeks ago I shared some photos from a videoshoot in Saxony for a new song from our other band called Just Like Clay! Well, we've dropped our first "Hollywood" video filmed by Martin from Centre Films in Radebeul. There's so much to say about this video and the song! Very much intended to be the 2nd release from our group it was the perfect follow-up to "All Inside My Head". If all inside my head was a hopeful reminder that even on dark days, better ones will follow; then "Shake Myself Alive" is a celebration of using your body to coax yourself out of a depressive state. It is a big reason why I love performing so much, the connection and catharsis with an audience. That we all live in a moment (Relevant for the 3rd Release of JLC).

This video was filmed in a decaying villa here in Saxony. It's one of those places that everyone sees and thinks "I have to see the inside." Remarkable building and now going to be renovated. We were fortunate enough to be able to film inside with Martin, who turned this place into the perfect backdrop for this song. You see it: Happy Musicians using their love for music and dance to bring positive life to a place that most would see as decrepit and ruined.
