Full Circle in the Heart of America
Dear Troublemakers,
We’ve officially landed back in Europe after what turned out to be a powerful and joy-filled finale to our 2025 USA Tour. The last two weeks wrapped up what has been one of our most meaningful runs through North America to date.
We reached the East Coast in true full-circle fashion, playing in New Jersey for the first time—with the Delaware Water Gap and Philadelphia skyline as our backdrop. It was a special moment, especially for Bennet, who lived in New Jersey for three years while at university. The crowd was electric, and it felt like a second homecoming.
From there, we turned westward again, stopping for a soulful evening at Negative Space Gallery in Cleveland—a hidden gem tucked inside an Asian import market, flanked by a karate studio and full of warmth and multicultural creativity. We were grateful for the indoor setting as a 17-day heat wave bore down on the Great Lakes.
We celebrated the 4th of July with Bennet’s family in Indiana—some rare downtime before launching into our first-ever More Violins, Less Violence Festival at Byway Brewing in Hammond. It was a hometown moment like no other. Though the heat forced us indoors, the spirit was unshakable. With local high school bands, Region favorites, and an enthusiastic crowd, the event raised funds for the Hammond Arts Council and brought us all a bit closer together.
Then came the final stretch, and in many ways, the heart of the tour.
We headed north along Lake Michigan into what has undoubtedly become one of our favorite places in the world: Wisconsin. The week began in Green Bay at Frets and Friends—one of our favorite venues—and the energy carried us into a few days of rest at Bennet’s family cottage in Eagle River, a place that’s been part of his story since childhood. Quiet mornings by the lake, fresh-caught fish, and time in nature gave us the clarity and strength to close the tour with everything we had.
Our final shows in Ironwood, Michigan and Eagle River were filled with heartfelt connection. The Northwoods crowd welcomed us with open arms and open hearts.
Then came a true highlight: Highbridge Hills Disc Golf Jamboree. A huge open-air stage, dancers in the grass, and the kind of festival atmosphere that feels like home. It reaffirmed our belief that the Jam Scene in the U.S. is made for us—a space where our music finds deep resonance.
And finally, Viroqua. Driftless Music Festival.
If you’ve followed us for a while, you know that Viroqua holds a special place in our journey. It has been a gravitational center since our early days in the States. With the help of our dear friend Eddy Nix, we closed the tour with a beautiful afternoon concert in the park, surrounded by familiar faces and incredible energy. We stayed at the childhood home of Butch Vig, the legendary producer of Nirvana and Garbage. Flo slept in a room filled with platinum records—a poetic reminder of where dreams can lead.
It was the perfect ending to what we can only describe as a successful, meaningful, and FUN tour. One that reminded us that with continued focus and presence, we have the potential to grow our roots deeper in America.
We left the States with full hearts, renewed ambition, and a suitcase full of stories.
Thank you for walking this road with us—your support on Patreon helps us make this possible. Every rehearsal, video, tour stop, and song shared is shaped by your belief in our journey.
With gratitude and troubled melodies,
