Beautiful World Music from the ruins of Leiston Abbey

Hey Hivers!

It has been a few weeks since we played our last show in the UK, but we are still buzzing from the experience we had! Three weeks of near non-stop action culminating in some of our best performances of the year so far. Peter was an absolute legend for joining us on the percussion and accordion, and it was an overall positive experience.

This video was recorded in East Anglia at the Leiston Abbey ruins after we gave a little showcase performance for the students at the Pro Corda Music school. It was a rather spiritual place to play.

An improvisation based on the world folk fusion composition “Sands of Time” by The Trouble Notes from their album “Liberty Awaits. This piece is written about Unity in Diversity, focusing on what unites us rather than dividing in our common humanity.
