10 Videos from January 2023 I Recommend You to Watch Right Now

Hello, there. From Auto-tune, to record collectors, to the dangers of smartphones, are we getting dumber? How to cook salmon, a little rant and a bonus you gonna love. Be welcome to my new post.

“The cure for boredom is curiosity. There is no cure for curiosity.” – Dorothy Parker

Since I’ve always been very curious, why not share a little of my new knowledge with all of you?

Better yet, I’m thinking about writing posts with recommendations like these ones from my days spent online.

Here, you will find the traits of a good life, what auto-tune has caused to popular music, people who stills buy records, a new flying car, a little rant, the training routine of a surf legend and even how to prepare a delicious salmon recipe.

I hope I have sparked your curiosity so, without further ado, let’s begin:

10 15 Traits of a Good Life (2023)

Traits of a Good Life

You will never get what you don’t plan for! Lack of money problems, a healthy routine, how about physical and mental well-being, I’m not exactly a fan of this channel, but sometimes they can teach you something nice and this video is not narrated by the usual lady. By the way have you ever read Zen and the Art of Motorcycle Maintenance? If you haven’t, you must.

9 Why Do People Still Play Records?

Why Do People Still Play Records?

I still have all my vinyl records, I never plan to sell them, the covers used to be works of art. Seems like there is some kind of magic in those vinyl records. Why do people still buy them? I heard once they will last forever since they’re not biodegradable. When you put that needle another being comes to life.

8 Are we getting dumber and dumber?

Are we getting dumber and dumber?

What does iodine, genes, air pollution and chemicals have in common? Why IQ levels keep going down with every year passing? Why can’t people drive anymore to a destination without a GPS app? Why are we forgetting things? I read once on how Google and Facebook are dumbing people down. I love DW documentaries and this is their best of January. At the end some very smart people will give you advice on how to prevent getting dumber and develop your intellect.

7 Inside the factory making a flying car ready for take-off

Inside the factory making a flying car ready for take off - BBC News

This cool machine can fly and even reach 260 kilometers per hour. It’s only a prototype, but what a magnificent one. When I was a kid I thought people in the future will use flying cars to go to work and school, it didn’t happen so, let’s see what happens next. It would be great to at least have one of these in your backyard.

6 Why we all need subtitles now

Why we all need subtitles now

I’m not a fan of Vox, but I recommend you to watch this one. I thought it was only me who had this problem, but it is true and it’s been happening for a while now. Who’s to blame? The Hollywood industry? The beta male bearded nerd with glasses on this video explains why this happening and didn’t happen in old movies.

5 He did nothing wrong

He did nothing wrong.

The homosexual agenda is way out of proportion. A hockey player is attacked for refusing to wear a homosexual symbol on his jersey, something like this would have never happened not even 10 years ago. Fortunately a lot of people have also defended this player, proving that the big majority in America are sick with the woke/socialist/homosexual agenda… and his hockey jersey has even sold out. This is my favorite channel for rant. Hope you subscribe to it.

4 How Auto-Tune DESTROYED Popular Music

So, apparently now a computer program can generate music based on your favorite bands and even write entire lyrics and you could say this is exactly what the music industry wants, no risk & complete control! But you have to continue making music and creating even crappy songs, otherwise that Auto-Tune program won’t be able to rip off music and everything will become an electronic rip off of a rip off. But don’t get discouraged, to err is to be human and we need to continue creating music or whatever art to continue being humans. And enough with electronic and hip hop bullshit, you have to listen to real musicians… even if they’re bad, at least they’re trying.

3 Meal Prep Honey Garlic Salmon Bowls

Meal Prep Honey Garlic Salmon Bowls

Let’s go to the kitchen with this one, shall we? Once I heard a chef saying that the one who doesn’t know how to cook doesn’t contribute; the chef work is as important as the job of an engineer or a doctor. Cooking is the number one survival skill anyone can have. I’ve discovered this guy channel last year, I like it how he can prepare meals for the whole week and that’s perfect for someone with a full time job. So, enjoy.

2 A Surf Legend Opens His Home and Shares His Diet and Training Routine

Surf Icon Laird Hamilton Opens His Home & Shares Pool Training Routine | Gym & Fridge | Men's Health

At 58 years old, surf legend Laird Hamilton doesn’t seem to slow down. And why would he? He has perfected his surfing techniques, has been named “the most complete surfer”, runs several companies and just enjoys life in Hawaii. In this video Laird shares with Men's Health his diet and his rigorous training that includes using weights inside a pool; he opens his fridge and tells us a little more of himself. Age is just a name.

1 The Male Inequality in the 21st Century Explained By an Expert

Male inequality, explained by an expert

Author Richard Reeves explains in this one what society has done to men in the last 60 years. Gender inequality has grown the other way around. Why three are so few male teachers now? Why the fastest growing jobs are the ones that don’t include men? Men now earn less money than 40 years ago. What is the difference between STEM jobs and HEAL jobs? There’s also a dad-deficit and what’s going to happen to kids who grow up without a male role model? This is a must-see video for every man out there.

Metallica: Screaming Suicide (Official Music Video)

Metallica: Screaming Suicide (Official Music Video)

I cannot wait to get my hands on the new album of one of my favorite bands of all times. I’ve been listening to these guys since I was a kid and plan to continue doing so. With a song like this one the album 72 Seasons, which will be Metallica’s eleventh, looks very promising, and I can say I am optimistic. I heard this one two weeks ago and have been listening to it almost every day. Great riffs that remind you the old Metallica, a nice solo by Hammet and the raspy voice of Hetfield, you cannot ask for more. Suicide and nightmares are common themes in Metallica’s work and the atmosphere of the video in B/W fits perfectly. The old Metallica is back!
