Hi everyone, I’m @theofficalmide and this is my entry for the Hive OPEN MIC WEEK 204.
I am so excited to here in this wonderful community again and I’d like to thank and appreciate everyone that welcomed me and shared words of encouragement, you guys are the best 😁🤗. So for this week the theme is ASIAN CULTURE and today I’ll be performing ‘Can’t help falling in love’ by kina grannis.
This song was performed in an Asian based movie titled ‘Crazy Rich Asian’ which was as where I heard it for the first time and like the title said I just can’t help falling in love with the song.
In Asian culture, love is often portrayed as a delicate dance, a harmonious blend of tradition and emotion. From the intricate rituals of courtship in Indian weddings to the poetic expressions of affection found in Chinese literature, the essence of love weaves its way through every aspect of Asian life.
As I sang each verse and strummed the chords, I couldn’t help but feel the echoes of these cultural traditions resonating within me. The song’s gentle melody and heartfelt lyrics seemed to transcend language barriers, speaking to the universal experience of love that knows no bounds.
