Servitude is an art piece that shows how our actions are influenced by the traditions and the Ideologies we have been exposed to over the years and how sometimes it can be dangerous by costing us alot if these traditions and ideologies are wrong. The blindfold in this painting shows how people can be blinded by tradition and the chains indicates being in bondage of those beliefs, the facial expression shows how people can be in so much anguish and despair trying to break free from these faulty belief systems, because it has cost them alot. It is very important that we question and evaluate these traditions and beliefs to know if they impact us positively or negatively..
