Music - Music off a T-Shirt

Whilst meandering the Italian Adriatic coastline I happened upon two young women perched on an old fort wall overlooking the distant ocean. I was fascinated by the T-shirt f the one young lady.... clearly from a music festival... but with the most 'obscene' named bands embroidered all over. So I stole a photo and decided to research the origins as well as the music.

A heavy metal concert staged in Abruzzio Italy in 2019 the line up was pretty damn impressive... and that from a 'not necessarily' a Heavy Metal fan.

I found the musicianship rather good .... the opening guitar riff of this particular track definitely smacks of Black Sabbath influence.

So working down that T-shirt I listened to a few Voivod tracks and chose to share the 'ballad' sounding Fix My Heart ...

Pleasant enough I must admit ....I could certainly see myself going to a concert with this kind of music .... but not sure it has enough 'nuance' to keep me captivated for long.. so onwards to the next band and see what they offer

At first I read this as 'Death bringer' and thoght Aborted . Death bringer ... how appropriate. Man, this is a very depressing video and the music sounds like discordance rather than melodic . that is for sure. Fast forward to the next act ...{wipes brow ... looks desperately around for Leonard Cohen vinyl}

Phew, I knew heavy metal was dark .. but very dark, anti-establishment seems to be the norm. This next act performing in a predominantly Catholic country takes the cake for their name... and speaks loudly of the tolerance of Italians {smile}

Man, I love the opening ... loud louder and absolute loud !!! Was smiling , bobbing my head along with the song ... and then he started screaming and spewing incoherent words ..... and I was lost.

I will definitely explore this ridiculous named band some more though....

While watching the above track it strongly reminded me of an old favorite... I include this below... tell me what you think !!
