Music - Monday mellow featuring Jim Croce

A ridiculously balmy heat in this little harbor city. Shew, high humidity a problem for this little African. I was going to do some rock artist or band tonight but I am frazzled and rather happy with soft stuff.... so say welcome to our man Jim.

In the time this man was making these tunes, I was a prepubescent child... and yet I can sing along to all these tunes word for word !! Yet sometimes I have to ask my bestest half what I had for dinner last night.

In the 70's music artists seemed to have a really short lifespan .... and Jim was no different. In 1973 at the age of 30 he died in an airplane crash. The following song hit number one on the bill board charts shortly after he passed

That I am afraid is that for tonight .... the task has been delegated to moi by my other half to prepare a Ploughmans Platter for dinner. It is too hot for cooking {sulk}
