Last night, my daughter and I had the opportunity to see 4 amazing bands perform live! I have seen Rob Zombie a couple of different times, once in his early solo career, and the other with is former band, White Zombie, which is where my deviated septum came from, lol, but that is a whole other story, lol. As for the other acts, it was my first time seeing them. For my daughter, it was her first time seeing all of them, and her 3rd metal show ever. It's exciting for a dad to be able to share these kind of experiences with his kids. It makes for a great bonding experience that's for sure!

But Rob Zombie was freaking awesome as always, even played 2 tracks from the old band which was awesome. Alice Cooper was before him, and man, did he not fail to impress, even at the ripe age of 75! Dude has more energy than I do, lol, and I am 41, lol.

At sunset, we had Ministry get started and slammed their set! It was hard and loud just like the albums! They were impressive sound wise, but the visuals I felt were a bit lacking.

The opener of the night however was Filter. I grew up listening to them. The lead singer was one of the original touring and studio guitarists for Nine Ince Nails so that's how I heard of them back in the day, and just never had a chance to see them live. I felt bad for them a bit because they were the opener and the venue wasn't even close to being full.

We got there before the gates opened to ensure that we got to see all the bands. The last show we went to, we missed the beginning acts and I wanted to see all of them this timne around. It gave us time to get drinks and popcorn and got her a tour shirt before finding our seats.

Anyway, the night was amazing and I am blessed to get to share it with my daughter for her 19th birthday present as well as our moving away bash! She is moving off to college this weekend and I am moving back to our home town across the country in just over a week to help with family, so it was a great way to send each other off!

After my move, I will be back in full force with some trading content as well as getting back in the groove on my other projects, because when I get to the family farm, Hive is going to be the only income I will have for a while, lol.

Be cool, Be Real, and always Abide!

There is nothing more fulfilling than having a live show, I really prefer seeing my artist live than watching videos.

It’s just way more fun, especially with friends and family! I am lucky to have raised kids with good taste in music, 😂

Even though you missed the beginning acts, I'm still happy that you enjoyed the show
