Introduction about myself

Good day everyone my name is Chukwuma Onwubalili am from Nigeria I lives in the state of Abuja am so excited to be on this platform to share my creativity on the Hive platform am a digital artist, illustrator and inspired animator, and studying fine and applied art at the university of Nigeria under graphic section in digital graphics, sound engineering and music production what motivated me to jump into this carrier is my curiosity of how far I can go what I can do with myself and what boundaries I can push to reach a greater height, over the years have had experience with art in general especially graphic which is my core favorite
I use my Laptop, Digital tablet and stylus and most importantly my mouse, most people always asked me how do I use a mouse to create illustrations but my answer is basically the tools am use to not the style, style is important but tools are far more domain, as long as you have gotten the tools right and presets well done then it’s a big start for a journey to be excited about.

The apps I use currently in creating my works are (Krita, Audacity and FL studio as well you all know am not only an artist in the field of art as well as in the genre of music.

Speaking about brushes I have my personal presets I use to create designs on krita my favorites are inking brushes

Definition

The term “anima vestra” is translated from Latin meaning (my soul), anima meaning “soul”.
This work of art represents an abstract form of Life, pain and depression.
In relation to the human body the soul is the main point of every human life.
The balloon which has a layer of contrast represents “pain” the colour red gives out a point of focus.
Clouds with the snow represent how cold life can get under the weather. It shows that not every hay in life can be stacked under the sun.
Some days, things don’t go as planned.
Finally, the Man underneath the snow at the left-hand corner with his camel gives a small reflection of survival and striving as he goes on.

Data.
The Tree represents the body, the identity and the point of attraction.
The colour combination are non-binary colours with touch of red, it gives out a dark contrast and a perspective of a gothic view.

Tools that were used are mainly Digital pens example “Basic-5”.
with Texture brushes.

This image as you can see here is a digital illustration I used with krita as well the work involved in mainly clipping mask tool which enabled me to get the sun and sea into the shape of the parrot while the palm tree and the beak connected to form a sense of hierarchy VND tag meaning (Voidnotdespair).

This is a custom design miles morales spider man across the spider verse design I wanted to add on a T-shirts
what motivated me to carry out this design is basically the movie I enjoyed so instead I had to pay respect and design a fan art but unfortunately it isn't yet printed out as a shirt, but I hope the coming years it will all work out.

Plus, I didn't mention I was into 3d modelling I just started but am hoping growth sooner than ever

Diving further I always had a passion in music honestly music has always been in me, but I haven't shed more light till 2021 as I started making music on my laptop at first, I started off with rap as I was young but as times fly by, I became more of a lyricist, and I try to experiment of different sound and give light on other genres like
pop, rock, emo, afro, old school style of rap and trap and sometimes i try to create a blend of two genres to make a unique style of music.

Lastly, I want to thank my mom for being my motivation throughout my life she has always been there to support me during my struggles up till now I just hope it will all be in God hands.
