Herzlich willkommen im neuen Jahr!
Ich möchte heute meinen Jahresrückblick mit dem Original-Song der mich 2024 am stärksten beeindruckt hat, abschließen. Dabei handelt es sich um "Over Me" von Reeve Stimpson. Der in Virginia aufgewachsene und jetzt in Nashville, Tennessee lebende US-amerikanische Musiker ist bekennender Fan der 80er Jahre - und das merkt man dem Video auch an:
Es ist schon bemerkenswert, dass man in Virginia Beach im Jahr 2024 ein Musikvideo drehen kann, das wirklich fast so aussieht, als wäre es vor vierzig Jahren entstanden. Das eine Smartphone, dass beim Schnitt übersehen wurde, ignorieren wir einfach mal ganz elegant. Das Behind-The-Scenes-Video beweist aber eindrucksvoll, das rund um die Dreharbeiten tatsächlich das ganz normale Leben der 20er-Jahre lief:
