Greetings to everyone in this community. I hope we all are having a great week, and I greet you all a happy weekend in advance, and to those that won't be having a weekend, I greet you all too. This week, as I said earlier, is another week for the Hive Music Festival, week 175 from round one, and for this week, I'll be doing a cover with my guitar, and the title is Hurt Me. This beat is an Afrobeat by Burna Boy featuring Rema. Just as you may know, these guys are the ones that made Afro music go viral with their own style of pushing Afrobeat music around the world.

Listening to Afrobeat music sounds so entertaining when you listen to songs by Burna Boy, WizKid, Rema, and the like. These guys are the real pioneers of Afrobeat music, starting from day one, and aside from the fact that people are not going to love Afro music, the way these guys have been rebranding their music now has really been so enjoyable because there is no way you can talk about Afro music and I not mention these guys. Aside from the fact that Wizkid and Burna Boy are now the big guys of Afrobeat music, we still have lots of artists that have also gone viral with this style of singing.

When I was off the Internet to check for something to do for this week's entry, I saw this beat, and I played it first because I have to be sure if it is a beat I really want to play or if I need to look for something else. But when I played it for the first time, it got my attention, and I loved the arrangement of the Afrobeat instrumental. Then I thought of creating something melodious to it. Here is a

Esta semana, como dije antes, es otra semana del Hive Music Festival, la semana 175 desde la primera ronda, y esta semana haré una versión con mi guitarra titulada "Hurt Me". Este ritmo es un afrobeat de Burna Boy con Rema. Como ya sabrán, estos chicos son quienes hicieron viral la música afro con su propio estilo de difundir el afrobeat por todo el mundo.

Escuchar afrobeat suena muy entretenido cuando escuchas canciones de Burna Boy, WizKid, Rema y similares. Estos chicos son los verdaderos pioneros de la música afrobeat, desde el primer día. Y, más allá de que a la gente no le va a gustar la música afro, la forma en que estos chicos han reinventado su música ha sido realmente muy disfrutable, porque es imposible hablar de música afro sin mencionarlos. Además de que Wizkid y Burna Boy son ahora los grandes del afrobeat, todavía hay muchos artistas que se han vuelto virales con este estilo de canto.

Cuando estaba buscando algo para la entrada de esta semana en internet, vi este ritmo y lo toqué primero porque tengo que estar seguro de si es un ritmo que realmente quiero tocar o si necesito buscar algo más. Pero cuando lo toqué por primera vez, me llamó la atención y me encantó el arreglo del instrumental de afrobeat. Entonces pensé en crear algo melodioso.
