🇪🇸 ~ ¡Hola a todos! 💕 Espero tengan un lindo inicio de Junio, yo estoy muy bien (ღ˘⌣˘ღ) la última semana a estado llena de buenas noticias (adopciones de gatitos exitosas, reuniones familiares bonitas, dinero, regalos, y por fin Kamui "mi gatito de bruja" fue esterilizado).
🇺🇸 ~ Hello, everyone! 💕 I hope you are having a nice start to June. I am doing great! (ღ˘⌣˘ღ) The last week has been full of good news: Successful kitten adoptions, family reunions, money, gifts, and finally, Kamui, my "witch kitty," was spayed.
Pero antes de estos días lindos hubo unas semanas bastante fuertes; accidentes, noticias de funerales inesperados, muchas emergencias médicas. Y ahora que tengo unas horas libres es el momento ideal para responder a una de las dinámicas en las que me taggeo nuestra querida @irenenavarroart 💐 que a pesar de la fecha que ocupamos hoy, este planteamiento es uno de mis favoritos por ser una serie recursos (o como ella lo nombra, actividades de conexión) que me ayudan a sobrellevar la rutina y los momentos difíciles.
But before these nice days, there were some pretty rough weeks: Accidents, unexpected funerals, and many medical emergencies. Now that I have a few free hours, it's the perfect time to respond to one of the dynamics in which I was tagged by our dear @irenenavarroart 💐 Despite today's date, this approach is one of my favorites because it's a series of resources (or, as she calls them, "connecting activities") that help me cope with routine and difficult moments.

Esta pregunta es facil, sin duda para mi es "Hohoemi no Bakudan", opening icónico interpretado por Matsuko Mawatari (a quien tambien agradecemos los endings 1, 2 y 5 de YYH), esta canción no importa cuántos años pasen es imposible que no me haga sentir mejor, tanto por su letra como por el ritmo es mi canción referencia cuando necesito sí o sí salir de algún estado anímico bajo. Aunque no seas fan del anime o de la música japonesa te recomiendo darle una oportunidad.
This question is easy for me. Without a doubt, it's "Hohoemi no Bakudan," the iconic opening performed by Matsuko Mawatari. We also thank her for the endings 1, 2, and 5 of YYH. No matter how many years go by, this song never fails to make me feel better, thanks to its lyrics and rhythm. It's my go-to song when I need to cheer myself up. Even if you're not a fan of anime or Japanese music, I recommend giving it a chance.
¿Por qué esta canción?, siendo adulta es difícil encontrar tiempo para ver tus series favoritas, pero guardar la OST es una opción maravillosa para reconectar con esos sentimientos de pertenencia y autenticidad que te inspira la obra.
Why this song? As an adult, it's difficult to find time to watch your favorite series. However, saving the soundtrack is a great way to reconnect with the feelings of belonging and authenticity that the show inspires.

✦ De las Crónicas Vampíricas de Anne Rice ✦
Cualquier libro de "Las Crónicas Vampíricas" de Anne Rice, todos y cada uno me da esa sensación de estar en casa. Pero especialmente "Armand" se siente como "volver" a casa. Soy fan del personaje de Marius y este libro te deja saber más de el. También la manera en que la autora escribe cada libro, de forma ultra detallista sin perder la coherencia entre tantos saltos de tiempos, hace que la experiencia de leer sea completamente inmersiva. La tragedia de Armand (no hare spoilers) es lo que es, desgarradora, pero siempre regreso a este libro como primera opción cuando siento nostalgia, además es una pieza importante de la saga que te revela acontecimientos clave para entender tanto sucesos del pasado como sucesos futuros de los otros libros.
Any book in The Vampire Chronicles by Anne Rice gives me that feeling of being home. But "Armand" especially feels like "coming home". I'm a fan of Marius's character, and this book reveals more about him. The author's ultra-detailed writing style, which maintains coherence despite the frequent time jumps, makes for a completely immersive reading experience. Armand's tragedy is heartbreaking, but I always come back to this book when I'm feeling nostalgic. It's also an important piece of the saga that reveals key events to help you understand the past and future of the other books.
✦ "¿Qué actividad te hace perder la noción del tiempo?" ✦
¡Leer fanfics!, que peligro, ¡que peligro!, cada vez que llega a mi correo una notificación de AO3 es casi seguro que el primer momento que tenga libre lo usare para escabullirme a leer. Me gustan los fanfics de capítulos infinitos o las sagas que cuentan con epílogos o continuaciones. Pierdo la noción del tiempo cuando comienzo a leer una nueva historia y es posible que mi agenda de ese día se eche a perder, porque me cuesta mucho trabajo reunir la fuerza de voluntad necesaria para no leer todo hasta el final, hasta estar al día con la historia o terminarla, simplemente lo disfruto mucho y no soporto la incertidumbre. Actualmente sigo estando en el fandom de TCGF y afortunadamente sigue bastante activo con muchos tags diferentes para escoger.
Reading fanfiction. Every time I receive an AO3 notification, I know that I'll use my first free moment to sneak away and read. I like fanfiction with endless chapters, sagas with epilogues, and stories with continuations. I lose track of time when I start reading a new story, and my schedule for the day might get messed up because I have a hard time mustering the willpower to stop reading until I reach the end. I enjoy it too much, and I can't stand the uncertainty. I'm currently still in the TCGF fandom, and fortunately, it's still quite active, with many different tags to choose from.

Quizá en esta pregunta esperarías que dijera "coser o craftear" pero no, en ambas actividades tengo autocontrol y soy conciente del tiempo, pero leer fanfics es un tema aparte, y siempre es reconfortante volver a leer sobre tus personajes favoritos enamorándose y casándose una y otra vez, en cientos de universos diferentes.
You might expect me to say "sewing or crafting" in answer to this question, but no. I have self-control and am time conscious in both activities. Reading fanfiction, however, is a separate issue. It's always comforting to read about your favorite characters falling in love and getting married over and over again in hundreds of different universes.
✦ I also lose track of time when I browse through my old manga magazines. This style of drawing makes me feel at home 🌼 ✦
