It's Tuesday which means I need my inspiration time!!
Today my post is inspired with a wee chat from the talented singer and Hiver @meyateingi who said her current favourite song was Back to Black.
It is Tuesday and that of course means that it's #ttt or #threetunetuesday and so it's time to share some tunes with you!

Today's artist was taken far to soon through alcohol. She was only 27 when she died and became a member of the 27 club along with Jimi Hendrix, Jim Morrison, Kurt Cobain, Janis Joplin and Brian Jones of the Rolling Stones, ironically a band that Amy Winehouse would perform with at a festival.
Who was Amy Winehouse
Amy Winehouse was an English singer-songwriter known for her powerful, soulful vocals and her eclectic mix of musical genres, including R&B, jazz, and soul.
She had such a powerful voice and deary me she did have addiction problems and so many of her shows were blighted through alcohol and forgotten lyrics and cancellations.
Her distinctive voice, beehive hairstyle, and tattoos made her a recognizable figure in popular culture.
As I intimated she passed away aged 27, far too young an age.
Tune 1 Amy Winehouse - Stronger Than Me
She released two albums while she was alive. A third was released posthumously.
Stronger Than Me was the first single taken from her debut album Frank which was released in 2003.
Tune 2 Amy Winehouse - Rehab
Rehab is my favourite song of hers and unfortunately is so Amy Winehouse.
It was a tragedy that she died of alcohol poisoning. Such talent she had and I loved the use of different instruments in her songs.
Really was a such a shame.
Tune 3 Amy Winehouse - You Know I'm No Good
Our third and final song You Know I'm No Good also comes from her second album Back to Black just like Rehab did.
It was released in 2006.

I need to love you and leave you this morning, hence the shorter post than normal, as I am off to the hospital to have a blood test to see (touch fluffing wood) if I am suitable for some Biological treatments for my ankylosing spondylitis. It could be the end of daily pill popping that doesn't always work to be replaced with a fortnightly self-injection.

It always hurts to see a life wasted, unfortunately she couldn't control her demons. She had a unique voice, I really get emotional every time I hear her.
One of my favorite songs is Back to Black.

Yes it was incredibly sad.
I love Amy's music. I think she has a very powerful voice and her irreverent yet innocent style was unique. With her death, a figure that could have done more in music was lost. I remember at the time I really hated the boyfriend because he was said to be the cuplable of her vices. My favorite song is You Know I'm No Good.

I loved her music, and you know the innocent style, well she was only 27 when she died. So yes innocent and easily led unfortunately.
