Wheel be there

Hello Hello to all you wonderful Hivians and music lovers

Wheel be there for ttt 152

ttt152.jpg

Tuesday for me on Hive means three tune tuesday...

If you know me then you know I love to take my inspiration from somewhere.

Well this week is no different!

Over the weekend we had our annual Links market and I am sure I will make a post dedicated to it.

It is Europe's oldest street market and when I say market I mean the cranivals, the big rides etc.

This year Mrs T and I went on the 🎡 big wheel. It was during the day but we got great views.

So a wee tribute to Wheels.

It is Tuesday and that of course means that it's #ttt or #threetunetuesday and so it's time to share some tunes with you!

@ablaze started #ttt 152 weeks ago! Go check out what it is all about on his last post Gomez for Three Tune Tuesday - Week 151 - 12 HBI shares to be won!

Do go support @ablaze as without him we would not have this mental fun musical activity that you can win HSBI from! I am happy to be one of the TWELVE sponsors and it is kinda fun checking out music from all over this global village of ours!

Long live #ttt 😁🎼 and #threetunetuesday

Today we are going to have fun with some Sedish 90s music!

Alexa is going to play three songs randomly

Fats Domino - I’m Gonna Be a Wheel Someday

Who doesn't love Fats Domino?

Actually probably all the kids on Hive won't have even heard of him. Well go listen to some jazz!

"I'm Gonna Be a Wheel Someday" is a popular song written by Roy Hayes, Fats Domino and Dave Bartholomew. The song was first recorded by Bobby Mitchell & The Toppers in 1957 and released in the same year.
source

This version of course was by Fats Domino and Dave Bartholomew and released in 1969.

Short but awesome and kicks off The Wheel theme....

So let's jump from gonna to am...

Foo Fighters - Wheels

I am a Foo Fighters fan not gonna lie to that, so any excuse to play a tune from them!

I picked a live version of Wheels...

Do you know why I picked a live version to play?

Did you know the answer?

Let's find out ...

So the single premiered on radio on September 23, 2009, though it was officially released six days later.

but....

The song had its live premiere at the White House as part of an Independence Day celebration honoring military service members.

So debuted live at the White House, pretty cool!

Okay Okay carnivals and fairgrounds etc for me are really for kids, so when I think of wheels I have to play as a fun tune, what Mrs T and I had to sing with our nephew when he was a wee bairn many years ago....

Don't worry a bonus tune is included!

Here is the animated nursery rhyme

The Wheels on The Bus Go Round and Round

He used to take great delight in having his own words to it ...

Uncle Ed goes puff puff

and

Uncle Ed goes toot toot

amongst other rhymes!

image.png

I hope that you enjoyed these Wheel tunes.

Which was your favourite (if any) ?

But wait, your ...

Bonus Tune Fairground Attraction - Perfect

Of course whenever I go the Links Market I automatically think of the band Fairground Attraction, but I am pretty sure I have played a ttt for them so let's leave with their most famous song or as @beeeee and I would say Pawfect

Note: The three YouTube videos that I have shared are not owned by me, I am simply spreading great music on Hive.

I wish that you all have a brilliant rest of your week, and until we meet again enjoy your tunes 🎶🎵🎶

Nice ditty sound, not something I recall, perhaps radio music I missed along the way.

Great picks and I love the theme! 🤣

Fats Domino- What an about classic!

Obviously I know the Foo Fighters, though not really up on top of my list, but I have never heard that song and actually quite enjoyed it so thanks for introducing me to it!

Not going to mention the bus though....🤣

And O.M.G!
I cannot believe that the bonus song is actually one of my faves songs EVER!
Fairground attraction- Perfect...I've been singing that since it first came out and still do, loud and proud,

NOW that's my style of song- especially the double bass.

GREAT JOB thanks!

My wife is more of a Foo Fighters fan than me, but I do respect good music.

The bus song hehe that is a first, I have published many many three tune tuesday posts and never included a fun kids song!

Eddi Reader has a great and distinctive voice, I think Fairground Attraction had their best album as their debut album, but Perfect really is a wonderful song!

Am glad you enjoyed them. Yeah double bass, gotta love that sound!

(Edited)

Yeah not much of a Foo's fan, still hard to get me past the 80's...unless it's more global music and doof doof because I love to dance and I love a good stomping doof- like the reason I love double bass, but really I like all music- except metal and especially death metal...

This is what I'm going to win next month through Gold 104.3!

Oh and Perfect, is just so damn perfect in so many ways!

Although I like Fats Domino, I have to go with Foo Fighters since I'm a fan too! I almost put them into my line up today as well! Those were fun today!

Yeah I am the same, not really heard much Fats Domino, so I go with what I know!
