Rock me Amadeus all the way back to 1986

Hello Hello to all the music lovers of Hive

It is Tuesday and that of course means that it is #ttt or #threetunetuesday and so it's time to share some tunes!

Long live #ttt 😁🎼 and #threetunetuesday

Whilst I was making a post yesterday to showcase my talk show tonight 👉 Talk Time With Tengo Episode 4 on January 17th in the Ecency discord server at 8pm UTC (just in case you didn't know 🤣🤣🤣) I got to thinking about songs with friends in the name, as the project we will be discussing is GM:FRENS from #threads!

I did think of this song which is a bonus, so don't say I am not romantic🤣

Bonus Song ... Gloria Loring And Carl Anderson Friends & Lovers

Her hair is so 80's and that is because this song was from 1986.

Well an idea was born, more like a homage to @ablaze and @coquicoin who had 1985 as their post theme last week, but with this being week 86 I shall play three cracking tunes from 1986.

First of all ...

Let's get stuck right in...

The formalities

If you wish to participate in Three Tune Tuesday then I defer you to the simple jist on how to do it from @ablaze ...

The jist is as follows

Every Tuesday I'm going to share 3 songs which I like to listen to and I invite your feedback in the comments below. Better still, why not have a blast of your own Three Tune Tuesday and mention me in the post and I'll come and find the post and upvote it. If you could also use #ttt or #threetunetuesday tags that would be great. It'll be a sweet way for us all to discover new music. You'll also be in with a chance of winning the prize - more on that later.

This week is week 86 of ttt and if you wish to participate then follow the rules laid out by @ablaze in his post from last week Paul Brady for Three Tune Tuesday Week 86

Do Go support @ablaze as without him we would not have this mental fun musical activity that you can win HSBI from! I am happy to be one of the five sponsors and it is kinda fun checking out music from all over this world of ours!

Formalities over, let's get back to 1986!

I think you will see that these 3 well 4 tunes I have chosen are pretty diverse, and that shows my music likes, from one extreme to another!

Tune 1 Berlin - Take My Breath Away

What a tune this was, and one reason that I went to see the film Top Gun. I think that Terri Nunn has a gorgeous and powerful voice!

Someone said female singers in the 80s didn't need to undress to sell records.

Here Belinda Carlisle proves that, I loved her solo stuff as well as The Go-Go's!

Tune 2 Belinda Carlisle - Mad About You

The third tune takes a twist and is a bit of fun!

Who remembers this one!

Classical music anyone ???

Tune 3 Falco - Rock Me Amadeus

I hope that you enjoyed these 1986 inspired tunes

Which was your favourite (if any) ?

Note: The three YouTube videos that I have shared are not owned by me, I am simply spreading great music on Hive.

I wish that you all have a brilliant rest of your week, and until we meet again enjoy your tunes 🎶🎵🎶

That would make sense. This one sounds like it was recorded in someones bedroom on a shaky tape recorder!

I was like you when I was choosing which version to include, and then fuck it did decide to do the original, but yeah there are way more polished versions!

Oh man, do these songs ever take me back! Top Gun was one of the first movies I remember seeing without adult supervision and remember absolutely loving that song. A friend of mine was absolutely infatuated with Falco, too, to the point that it was practically comical. Nonetheless, a really fun tune!

See, I would have went with "That's What Friends are For". Total classic there! Top Gun soundtrack is one of the greatest soundtracks ever created. Right up there with Dirty Dancing, Forest Gump, The Wedding Singer, and Guardians of the Galaxy.

Hello, Super Ed!!! You're the one to blame I spent the day humming Amadeus, Amadeus hehe. I saw this early in the morning but it's only now that I've had a chance to comment;)
I love all the songs but especially the one by Belinda Carlisle.
And well about this

so don't say I am not romantic🤣

I'd have to talk to Mrs. T to get her verdict 😂

Berlin - Take My Breath Away -- I watched the original Top Gun there recently, what a movie, what a song!!

Someone said female singers in the 80s didn't need to undress to sell records. Here Belinda Carlisle proves that, I loved her solo stuff as well as The Go-Go's!

Ya that's a good point, I feel sorry for the young female singers these days who sometimes (at a min) are coerced into parading around in half nothing to sell records..

Falco - Rock Me Amadeus -- Ah yes, I loved this tune, 1986... No way... Crazy that it's that long ago. Cracker of a tune.
