People have the Power on ttt201 and happy HPUD

hpud ttt201.png

Hello music lovers and Hello hivers!

It is fluffing ridiculous to think that we are into the second quarter of 2025 already!

It's Tuesday and it's a new month

It's also HPUD or Hive Power Up Day

So let's kick this ttt with a Power Up of Hive for Hive Power Up Day and you will see where today's inspiration has come from!

First things first .... let's get that Power Up sorted ...

image.png

Which leaves me with a staked Hive Power of 13,265.378 HP

image.png

I am still a small account on this blockchain of ours called Hive but it is fun being here, and that counts a helluva for me in a place!

This post will also be placed as a comment on the latest Saturday Savers post as powering up for HPUD is indeed something we encourager Hivians to do to show solidarity and faith in the Hive blockchain!

It is Tuesday and that of course means that it's #ttt or #threetunetuesday and so it's time to share some tunes with you!

@ablaze started #ttt 201 weeks ago! Go check out what it is all about on his last post 200-inspired songs for Three Tune Tuesday - Week 200 - win 5 HBI

Do go support @ablaze as without him we would not have this mental fun musical activity that you can win HSBI from! I am happy to be one of the FIVE sponsors and it is kinda fun checking out music from all over this global village of ours!

Long live #ttt 😁🎼 and #threetunetuesday

Where to start

Happy HPUD

So today when I realised that the first of the month fell on a Tuesday, there could only be one source of inspiration for my tunes...

All tunes have Power in the title...

And you would be surprised just how many there were to choose from!

image.png

So today Power in the title is the theme for three tunes...

image.png

First up we have the awesome British R&B girl group Eternal

Tune 1 Eternal - Power Of A Woman

Power of a Woman is the title tune from their second album. This was their first single and pretty much set them on their way.

I wondered whatever happened to them as they were awesome back in the day!

Turns out they disbanded in 2000 and a reunion tour in 2023 fell apart.

image.png

Tune 2 Gorillaz - We Got The Power / LIVE with Noel Gallagher & Jehnny Beth on The Graham Norton Show

First up I am not a Manchester City fan and not a fan of the Gallagher brothers but of course I do play Oasis from time to time.

Of course I was into the BritPop scene and it was quite funny the huge fallout that Noel Gallagher of Oasis and Damon Ahern of Blur had!

I am however a big Gorillaz fan and I thought this was a cool version to share today.

So the fact that the song was produced by Damon Albarn and featured Noel Gallagher was a big deal.

Seems you can bury the hatchet after all.

The song also featured Jehnny Beth of the British post-punk band Savages who are worth their own ttt as well!

image.png

Tune 3 Patti Smith - People Have The Power

I thought this was a fitting third tune seeing as we are all connected on this blockchain of ours!

"People Have the Power" was released in 1988 and is an anthem of empowerment and collective action.

Patti Smith and Chrissie Hynd remind me of each other and are two great female singers and icons!

It's characterized by its driving beat, Smith's passionate vocals, and lyrics that celebrate the potential for positive change through unity and social consciousness.

I shall end by saying We have the Power and Happy HPUD!

image.png

Which was your favourite Power tune or was it one of the many others that could have been chosen?

Note: The 3 YouTube videos that I have shared are not owned by me, I am simply spreading great music on Hive.

I wish that you all have a brilliant happy fun and terrific Tuesday until we meet again enjoy your tunes 🎶🎵🎶

Thanks for visiting!

Congrats on your power up. It's always a bit sad to find that a really good band has fallen apart like that. I guess it happens quite frequently though...

That is a clever lead image, @tengolotodo. Not sure where you got all the components for putting it together in Canva, but I guess the answer is some AI engine did it for you? If so, maybe one of these days I will have more time to learn something about how this works.

Good job on HPUD for April. All the best to you, in the coming month! 🤝

Thank you, yeah AI image prompting is fun and that one came out better than I expected! Do you know Canva also has its AI generator.
Congrats to you too and Happy HPUD

No, I did not know that. I am still deciding in what way, if at all, I am going to invest any time in learning about all these new AI options everywhere around us. That they are inevitably a part of our future seems self-evident. That "It's all good! is not.

At least not to this Silver Blogger.

hehe AI has been with us for over 50 years, it is nothing new, it is just much more mainstream now is my take. If something helps me then I will use it, but I don't like it and never have done. Remember the hundreds of thousands of jobs lost due to robots on the factory line, it has been going on for fluffing years and I am pretty sure they will take us over soon enough, just hopefully after I am gone!

Sure, there has been a comparatively primitive form of automation for a long time. And, yes, increasing automation of mundane tasks and processes has been a specific target.

Maybe we can agree, though, that is nothing like what is being projected as being just around the corner, time-wise.

"... just hopefully after I am gone!"

I have had my version of similar thoughts years ago. At the rate of progress today, though, barring some unfortunate accident, we are likely to witness it firsthand. Along with the consequences to those near and dear.

What will be will be. More worrying to me is what havoc Putin Trump and Xi Jinping will throw down on us!

Understood. I actively try, with varying degrees of success on any given day, to stay focused on what I have any influence or control over. I let the rest get, as much as I can manage it. While nothing is perfect, I certainly do better maintaining this mindset today than used to be the case.

Funnily enough, that was the first one that came into my head, but I decided to do lesser know ones...

I have to translate to capture the full meaning of your posts, and I always get a positive energy; you can feel the enthusiasm even when you're talking about a health topic.
I started saving thanks to your invitation. I'm doing it step by step, and it's a ridiculous amount, but it's important to me that I started saving. When I have more, I'll be able to say that it motivated me to save on Hive @tengolotodo.
Best regards.

Do you know, but when I try to write, I write it (well I try) as if it is something that I would want to read.
So much of what is on Hive does not interest me. It is just quickly written and published to earn rewards.
I like your articles as you write them as if you would want to read them. I don't always comment on them, but rest assured I will have read them whilst wearing my Silver Bloggers moderator hat!
And humour is something that never gets old!
The savings I am glad to hear, it does not matter what the amount is. What matters is you save something and get into the habit, even if it is the smallest amount possible. Tomorrow it will be something saved which wasn't saved today!

What a comment that pleases me so much. It's good to know that we are read with some interest, because after all, we write to be read, just as when we speak, we write to be heard and receive responses.

It made my day.

Yes, I will continue saving and encouraging others to do so.

Best regards.

That is great to hear. I remember when I started Hive I set rewards to 100% at the beginning to try to grow my HP.
