Oasis Will they won't they ~ What's the story?

Hello Hivians and Hello music lovers 🎶

Tuesday for me on Hive means three tune tuesday...

It's Tuesday and of course that means it's inspiration time!!

I will be publishing this before 8am on Tuesday.

That time is relevant, because that is when there is supposed to be a Press Release statement as to whether Oasis will get back together.

Or as Mrs T says, who fluffing cares. I heard on the radio last night they are going to break the new record not long set by Taylor Swift of most sold out nights in London.

As Mrs T says aww they are intimidated by a wee girl!

Today, I bring you .... Oasis

It is Tuesday and that of course means that it's #ttt or #threetunetuesday and so it's time to share some tunes with you!

@ablaze started #ttt 170 weeks ago! Go check out what it is all about on his last post Nick Drake for Three Tune Tuesday - Week 169 - win 12 HBI

Do go support @ablaze as without him we would not have this mental fun musical activity that you can win HSBI from! I am happy to be one of the TWELVE sponsors and it is kinda fun checking out music from all over this global village of ours!

Long live #ttt 😁🎼 and #threetunetuesday

Oasis - Morning Glory

(What's the Story) Morning Glory? was the second album from Oasis and the height of BritPop.

I am going to be a wee bit lazy and pick three tunes solely from this album as it is my favourite of theirs. So leading the way is Morning Glory and yes I need a little time to wake up!

Oasis - Roll With It

Roll with it is something we all do, don't you think?

So yes the 90s in the UK you cannot move without hearing about Oasis, Blur, Pulp and all the BritPop culture!

Oasis of course were the band of the infamous Gallagher brothers Noel and Liam. Let's be honest what a pair of dicks, but give them credit they were Manchester City fans long before oil money and Pep Guardiola made them the world beaters they are now!

Yes true Mancunians (is what people say) supported the boys in blue!

Oasis - Don’t Look Back In Anger

Don't Look Back in Anger was the first Oasis single to feature Noel on lead vocals instead of his brother Liam Gallagher.

Do you think one of them has the better voice?
Do the songs gel better if one of them is singing as lead vocalist?

They are quite distinctive both of them, I guess I fins Liam a bit more upbeat....

Which was your favourite (if any) ? Or is it not one I played?

Note: The three YouTube videos that I have shared are not owned by me, I am simply spreading great music on Hive.

I wish that you all have a brilliant rest of your week, and until we meet again enjoy your tunes 🎶🎵🎶

The first video is hilarious! The lady in the Saree had just had it! Morning drama it really is. Oh God I'm laughing so hard

Oh roll with it is my favourite. He is saying something that is life I think for young people and teens? I did not get the whole thing but I got the chorus...

Bro what the fuck! I love Noel more. That voice is more soothing to me and it blends well with the choice of song. I think this is my favourite song now.... WWWWWWWWWHHHHHHHHAAAAAAT! Doesn't sound like a 90s song at all. He's fucking good. He should be lead singer... he got it more

Don't look back in anger is by far my favourite!

Yeah Don't look back in anger is probably my favourite. Of course was about a woman!

I think Noel is a bit more upbeat when he sings than Liam.

They always had good videos and of course were always big at festivals.

Roll with it is advice for you yes

Money talks, but I don't think they are as big as they think they are.

Haha right!
Let's see what happens as Noel said he would never reform unless it was for £500 million!

Besides the big hits that they played here in the US, I never really dug into Oasis too deep. Then before you knew it they were split up and we were left with nothing. I've never taken the time to circle back to them due to that fact.

All the 90s and then a fair bit of the naughties, but to me it was mid 90s when they peaked.
They were part of the scene in the 90s and no reason you would dig into them after that lol.

They released dates for Ireland, and I'm going to do my best to get tickets. I've never been to a gig in Croke Park before, so it should be good.

I went to see Liam a few years ago, and before that I was never big on them, but after that night I started listening to them and got what the hype was about.

Tickets released here at 9am on Saturday, they are playing Edinburgh. Curious to see them to be honest. Croke Park will hold a big crowd.

I remember the songs that were big in the US but then they broke up and kind of disappeared. I haven't even heard any of their music in years until now! Liam had the better voice listening to them now. I had forgotten all about them!
