For once I am early, I have stuff to do so thought I would post tomorrow's post today!
It is Tuesday and that of course means that it's #ttt or #threetunetuesday and so it's time to share some tunes with you!

We have had a tumultous week here in the UK culminating in people saying the Metropolitan police in London were carrying out two tier policing with the pro Palestine demonstrations.
Pisses me right off all of it. The sooner people learn to be tolerant and live in peace the better. We all have a right to be on this planet end of story.
So three tunes coming up from a cracking band...

The band in question is The Police. Yes Sting et al. I actually have seen them three times over the years but for me the most fun album is their very first one.
I often like the original work of artists, it seems more raw and more natural.

With a budget of £1,500 borrowed from their manager, Miles Copeland (brother of drummer Stewart), the Police recorded Outlandos d'Amour at Surrey Sound Studios in an intermittent fashion over six months, with the band recording whenever the studio had free time or another band's sessions were cancelled.
So we finish today's ttt with Can't Stand Losing you which is one of my all time favourite songs.

I have their greatest hits album on CD and I swear I pretty much wore that thing out back when I actually used to listen to CD's. Now I have a couple of their albums on vinyl as well. Great selections for Three Tune Tuesday!

I actually had huge reason to love that. I college one of my housemates was called Bone and he was 6 foot 10! He was my bodyguard hahaha

Yes I prefer their early stuff, I usually do, when bands get famous that is often when I go Next..
But expanding our horizons in anything is always a cool thing!

Great pick with the band and also the situation that is happening over there. Yeah, people should learn to live in harmony, but sometimes it just can't be easily done.

Hey bro! It's wonderful that someone is doing a little homage to The Police nowadays, especially through these music recommendations. It seems unbelievable, but not everyone knows this music, the younger people need to be helped a little to know the greatness of rock. From this selection Roxanne is my favourite, in fact I love the version that was made for the 2001 film Moulin Rouge where it was fused with tango and epic orchestral film music, I don't know if you know it, but I need to share the link with you in case you haven't heard it:
