I Try To Make A Video For Most Popular Song Per Album

This time it was for a song called Chest Mouth Dream from Massesect Vampire Teething. It was the first Massesect track to organically get over 1000 plays on YouTube. I thought that was great! I listened back to the album and some songs were pretty good! Most songs are more downtempo with an edgy vibe. Sometimes people don't know whether to like or not what I put out, I really like that ambiguousness, I do it mostly on purpose. I was glad some people liked it. Someone on tiktok enjoyed the video too, not many have seen it yet.

I got the idea from watching another music video

I was thinking about the song Chest Mouth Dream

And wondering what visuals could go well with it. I was watching this fan-music video for the song Shifting Through The Lens by Frontline Assembly and it had this brutalist blue/greyscale aesthetic to it.

I thought it could work well. I was satisfied with how the video came out, it fit a sort of backrooms vibe with some brutalist architecture. The album Vampire Teething is loosely inspired by The Backrooms. It also sort of reminds me of a Tool Music Video. I am excited to show you the video

The Video Was Kinda Disturbing And What I Was Looking For

I like the part where there is a torso and a mouth comes out of it. The architecture was neat and it did have a backrooms sort of feel to it. Some of it could feel boring, there are repeating parts, yet it's interesting enough and evolves showing recurring themes and 'traps' that come back and evolve. I made a lyric video version that I have not put out yet. Focusing on the lyrics made it entertaining too. I have the original version of the video too which I may release later. It starts with a black screen for a few seconds and the shots are longer. It's also pretty cool!! I wanted to promote the video so wanted some action in the beginning so I edited the video. There was also a clip from the video I removed. I'm thinking of leaving it in when I release the original video in the future.
