Mixin' It Up! ( Explorations in Music Production)

I can never stay still for very long. Least to say I thrive in chaos, with my life in motion.

I've eased up on the writing a little lately,though I still have many projects on the back burner. I've just begun to turn them to a slow boil, reducing my thoughts to their purest form and finding my flavour, or the right words if you will. The ever looming curse of writers block.

I've also been keeping busy working on a couple series of drawings that I hope to share with you soon but much like writing, art takes time. The hours you put into the smallest of details really make a biggest of difference to the final piece. A lesson that took me what felt like a lifetime to learn. That being said I always love a little freestyle -lyrical doodling! It’s like exercise for the creative mind.

Latley i’ve been working on another recent exercise in creative thinking. I've strayed from my comfort zone to try my hand at something I dabbled in briefly two years ago but never picked back up. Making Music!

I'm pretty new to this but like I've said before and will stand by theres a learning curve for everything. I totally put it off for so long because I thought I'd have to get a program and made all sorts of excuse before i realized theres a wonderful tool for people with macs called GarageBand. Do not underestimate the powers of GarageBand. Even though it’s a free program it’s a great place to start. It’s easy to use also! I wont give advice on that as I hardly know left from right so far, but it’s been fun to experiment.
