Today friends I have the pleasure to share with you a very interesting musical news. I am referring to the release of the long awaited 21st studio album from one of reggae's most iconic bands, UB40. After a career spanning 45 years, they continue to prove why they are considered a true musical institution with their album "UB45".

But why are they considered so good? Well, I'm happy to answer this question. UB40 has left a lasting mark on music. With over 100 million albums sold, 50 singles in the UK Top 40 and 10 albums in the UK Top 10, it is undoubtedly a great demonstration of their talent as artists and above all they are an example to follow for new generations of bands and singers.

In the case of their latest release, "UB45", this represents not only another release in the band's extensive discography, but a celebration of their music, their history and their ability to evolve. With 14 meticulously selected tracks, the album offers a variety of new songs and re-recordings of some of UB40's most beloved hits that I personally love.

On the other hand, as a fun fact, one of the most "UB45" additions is vocalist Matt Doyle. In my opinion his contribution to the album has injected a new energy and vitality to the band's music, especially standing out on tracks like "Home" and "Gimme Some Kinda Sign". I believe that The chemistry between the original band members and the new talents, such as Matt Doyle and keyboardist Jahred Gordon, is remarkable in every song, proving that the essence of UB40 is still strong.

About the meaning of the album I think it is a step towards the future. Songs like "Home" address social issues and take a stand against the injustices of the world. And I see this as very important because the band has not only focused on entertainment, but also advocates a voice for change and social awareness.

Another interesting detail is that in addition to the new compositions, "UB45" features new versions of UB40 classics such as "Red Red Wine", "Cherry Oh Baby" and "Kingston Town". These reinterpretations maintain the songs' origins while adding a fresh, contemporary twist that makes them relevant to a new generation of listeners. Something that I see as very original and I think more artists should do today.

Buying new cards in Rising Star.

Well my friends as every day we have arrived to my favorite section, it's time to show you my latest purchases in our beloved game Rising Star. In today's case I have bought as usual 3 new cards for my collection. It is valid to clarify that some I bought them because I wanted to collect them and others I bought them for their characteristics. Knowing this, I will show them to you.

The first card I bought today is called: 54 Charlie. This card belongs to the category of common cards. It offers me 5 fans and 10 skill. I see this one more oriented to raise skill than fans. In my personal case I bought it because I want to collect it. I liked the picture of the cowboy playing his guitar haha.😅

Well the price of this card cost me in the market about 1304 starbits. Not bad considering that I just want to collect it. The personalized phrase on this card is: "Charlie Charlie plays music to his barley crops!" When I read this phrase I realized that he is not really a cowboy but a farmer. But it's almost the same thing haha.😅

The second card I bought today is called: 59 Wez. Unlike the other one, this one doesn't have a skill. But it brings more fans 10. This one is more practical to increase the fans at a low price. That if you would have to buy them in quantity.

The price of this one cost me about 1277 starbits. A little cheaper than the previous one. And a very good price indeed. The personalized phrase of this card is: "Want to increase your band's middle aged women fan count? Just remember to turn his mic off!" haha, the truth without lying to you this one made me laugh.

Finally I show you the last card I bought today. I am referring to 79 Tilly. This card like the previous ones is common. And like the first one we saw it brings me a total of 5 fans and 10 skill. I bought it because I wanted to collect his NFT. The price was also very interesting because it only cost me about 1044 starbits, that is the cheapest of the day. Its usefulness is more practical if you want to raise the skills. The personalized phrase on the card is: "Tilly is from Philly and friends with Billy. She'll get your new pulse racing!"
