It is going to happen. While we cannot say when or even who is going to pull this off, we do know there will come a time, most likely in the next couple years, we will see a 100x.

In this video I discuss how prompting is going to get very inexpensive. At the same time, we are going to see the number of tokens on each prompt explode. All of this is going to cause massive disruption especially as compared to where we are today.

With the increase in competition, and almost a lot of forum or question websites having their own version of AI chatbots, I do agree that it will be very inexpensive. While image AI were initially expensive, these too should get cheaper even those with high quality results. The text to video ones though, will be interesting. Because of its possibilities, I can see companies trying to monopolize them and restrict access. Needing large processing power can prevent mass availability for a while at least.
