I think sometimes it's often better to visit your family and friends who are at that place, it's way more easy and comfortable to stay with them and have a good time enjoying your trip...

I would normally agree, but it also depends on the culture, and of course the type of friends. Though in this case, we wanted time together, just the two of us :)
