Asking For Protection, When Encountering Grey Dark Sky ๐ถ Dark Clouds #APART
Usually when driving I don't pay too much attention to my surroundings, as I need to stay focused on the road and the traffic. But one of these on the road days, I found myself in a traffic jam and had enough time to take in my surroundings and that's when my eyes fell on the heavy grey clouds up ahead.
The unavoidable rain hadn't reached the roof of my car, but seeing those heavy clouds - that looked like one giant grey mass - I knew it was inevitable that I would soon have to drive through some major water curtain. Nonetheless, it was an enticing sight: all those (smaller) clouds gathering together to form that one huge grey weight.
Dark Clouds by Serani seemed like a fitting song, when looking at that huge mass of grey in the sky: "Lord take those dark clouds away..." The "dark clouds" in Serani's song are of course an analogy to those darker times in our lives and that we ask The Most High to help us through those days and to protect us from harm. Yet we literally and figuratively encounter storms during our lifespan, so protection from Jah is a welcome blessing.
I tend to look for shelter when I see dark clouds. Looks like a hurricane is coming
Yeah, even when I'm in house, I tend to crawl up and wrap myself in a warm blanket.
I did encounter the rain along the way, but luckily the storm was way more to the South.

These kinds of dark clouds I like to watch from the balcony with a cup of something. Back in the days these clouds caught me on a scooter ๐ต many times. No dark clouds ๐ง in my life just small ones floating by, I try to evaporate them before they join up ๐
!LOL That must have been a drag. Would you seek shelter or just "weather" it (pun intended) ๐คฃ.
In my case it used to be on the bicycle when coming from school and there were no buildings to seek shelter, so we had to pull through. A (baseball) cap was a big help, even though not against the sun but against the pouring water.
Ya, we try to stay positive through it all.
Same for me. If I'm safe in my own home, I can appreciate the beauty that comes from those clouds, especially with the lightning in between.
