First night at Blue Moon Bar

Hello friends, it is a pleasure for me to make my first publication in this great community. The Blue Moon is a bar in Havana where many times I have had the opportunity with my friend to share our art, a space that opened its doors to us when we were newcomers to this great city, a well decorated place that invites you to stay for a while. My first night in this place was wonderful, a little nervous but it's all part of the new experience. That same night there was a poetry event, where writers from different parts of the world shared their books and experiences.

The literary event began and the poetry stole the night, excellent lyrics and sensations were blooming after a few hours. Writers from Italy, Peru, Mexico, Colombia and many other countries showed their art. I was enjoying this moment and getting fond of the place, because this place blended very well with what was happening, the people who were there were enjoying their drinks, food and budget of the company and art. Focusing a little more on the night everyone took a small moment to start with the musical moment of the night, moment that my friend and I were in charge of.

The time came and we were about to start doing our songs but before that a musical duo from Peru asked us to give them the opportunity to sing a couple of songs and we couldn't refuse to share the space. They sang and it was great, they did a kind of pre-show in the most incredible way, we thanked them and now it was our turn to play the music. We started with a song of our authorship and we introduced ourselves to those who did not know us, which was the vast majority, but they were delighted.

We continued with other songs and the applause was the most sincere that we had witnessed in our performances, those who were there sang the songs, some of the best known and classic songs of our country, they put themselves to the same purchase of us and made the night even more magical. The lights, the atmosphere and our common taste for art made this moment to be lived with pure emotions and feelings.

Already in an atmosphere of complicity a Mexican writer asked us if we could accompany him in a song and already pleased and with more confidence he himself took the guitar and gave us a couple of songs of his land and Mexico is a very musical place and we could not expect more than one of his sons to sing with a great show of talent, he really did spectacular. We ended up with a great show and we were sure that it had been one of our best presentations, full of love for art and great artists. The Blue Moon stayed in our memories, so much so that we still keep coming back to this place to show our music and we always, always leave with a great memory.
