Harmonic Slide - Guitar Lesson

▶️ Watch on 3Speak

Hello everyone!!!

I am back with another short guitar lesson! This one is for electric guitars and here is why:

  • You will need to have distortion turned up
  • You will need to select the bridge pickup

Can this be played on an acoustic guitar? Well, yes! Give it a go!:) But, the electric guitar and distortion really does help the harmonics ring!

I give an outline of what is to be done in the video. A tip I would say is to just take your time and slowly build up. I think this is a great lick to add into solos, at and stage! If you are familiar with my playing, then you will probably have seen me doing this quite a lot!:)

This guitar I am using is an LTD M10 - this is a budget guitar, and I absolutely love the feel of it. Now, I have installed some Seymour Duncan pickups in, so it sounds amazing now! The originals were great, but these are far superior! Love it :)

Well - there is not much else for me to say as I outline the rest in the video! If you have any questions or requests, please let me know! Enjoy everyone!

Peace and love! Have an amazing weekend!

That's sound cool! Very useful tutorial, I struggle a lot with harmonics, and you're now adding more great stuff to them, so well I'm gonna practice it a lot. Great job.
