Slow Train Blues! Seymour Duncan Blues Rock Tones (Les Paul Custom)

Slowing it down with some blues from the heart! Finally have put some 10's on this Les Paul after many years playing with 9's. The reason was is I have forearm pain... I had a guitar related injury some years back and had to go to lighter strings. Well, let's hope I can stay with the 10's here! They sound and feel great! 9's on the LTD's, 10's on the Les Pauls!
Seymour Duncan SH-2 and SH-4n are the pickups installed on this Epiphone Les Paul Custom! Better than a Gibson? Well, that would have to be a direct comparison. No, I would say initially, however, considered I have spend around $700 NZD on this entire setup (guitar and pickups) it is more than a bargain. That's like under $500 USD, and I don't think you'll get a Gibson for under $1000 USD these days?
