Psychedelic Blues Rock Guitar Solo - Version 1 of 2!

Welcome to my 2 part series! Or, two part Jam session!

Today we have version 1 of this Psychadelic Rock Jam that I was playing through earlier today. I have moved my setup yo just focus more on the guitar, which I quite like actually. Version 2, I am holding my guitar differently. Here is a question I ask to guitarists, do you have a preference as to which leg you rest your guitar on? I do (my right leg) but, I find certain things easier with the guitar more upright as it is in this video! Well, version 2 (coming tomorrow!) I switch positions and wail away - the solos are both similar but different. I was going to make a compilation video of my 10 favourite licks from these videos... maybe I will do that too! It will get to the point a bit more, but I like listening to entrie solos. This, as always, is an improvised solo :)

The awesome backing track is right here

Always gotta show some love to the great musicians that create many of the backing tracks I play over!

Did you all like my '80s Shred Jam' from last week? My last 3 videos have all been quite different. Chilled, Shreddy, and now Trippy. You've guessed it... I'm going Bluesy next!! :)

Well, I also hope you've all had/are having an awesome weekend. It is late now here in New Zealand and it is time to go to bed as I have work early in the morning. I look forward to responding to you all tomorrow when I am home from work!

Peace and love!

It's always a pleasure to listen to you! It's good that you keep trying new takes for your videos although I must admit that seeing an instrumentalist's face and the expressions on his face while playing his tunes gives me a greater connection.

Thanks for bringing this good solo to this musical home!

Hey @eugelys !:) aw thank you so much - and yes, I agree! I think I wanted to try having a close up and maybe some different style video for this one, but I will go back to my previous format for the next one! I will do a blues solo next I think! :) thank you for having a listen, I hope all is good!

Yes, I agree with Eu. It is fascinating to listen to you and enjoy the sound of your guitars. I really liked this interpretation. Your agility and at the same time the subtlety you use to play is incredible. I also agree that when we get to see the artist's face while playing his instrument it gives us another perspective and we connect much more with his music. But you still did a great job.

We miss you a lot at the Hive Music Festival. I hope we can have you on stage again. It would be a pleasure for all of us

Thank you so much @edwardstobia !:) so great to hear from you - and yes, after watching this back, I think it is better to see my expressions (I am quite expressive when I play haha!) I am glad you enjoyed this :)

Also, thank you for reminding me and motivating me to re-join the music festival! I will be joining this week, no doubt! I have something planned for my return :) it will be my pleasure to return back to the hive music festival stage! See you there :)
