4 Bar Blues Lick - Guitar Lesson (with Tabs)

avatar

▶️ Watch on 3Speak

After a recent blues video, this lick was requested for a lesson. Well, here it is!

This lick was part of an improv solo, and I guess this reiterates my point from my last video of how great improv solos really are! Lots of good ideas and sounds :) lots of our favourite guitarists are somewhat improvising live, I've always loved that :)

I hope you can get some takeaways from this lesson, and that the tab is useful! Something else to practice :) I will post a few more lessons in the near future. Some more pentatonic runs and such :)

Thanks for watching everyone, peace and love to you all!

Well, what do you think? Should I do more guitar lessons? Maybe have them as a course or some kind of intro to guitar solo week by week? I have been wanting to do that for a while. I am just working so much right now I find it hard to fit in some playing, and to feel energised when I do play. Thanks for watching everyone :)

Excelente tutorial, muy instructivo. Tal vez me sirva para una improvisación que tengo pensado hacer con una base de blues. 🤘🏽

That's great, I love you as a guitarist, you're a star as a guitarist, and it would be great if you shared some of your knowledge. You could give basic notions of how to play the guitar. Hugs!

Hey bro, as always sharing incredible work, especially in these four bars of Blues. I enjoyed your explanation. Were you able to see the Vibes community contest?

Thank you so very much my bro!!:) Ah no, I didn't see that contest? What was it, or where can I find it? I'd like to check it out. I am not the best at finding new contests or other things like that, I was to have more involvement but sometimes am unsure of where to go or what to do haha. Thanks for informing me brother :)

Wow thank you so very much my friend!!!:)

Also bro, can I ask why you used peakd? Is it better than hive? I only use hive and 3speak, do you think I should use peakd?

Sorry for all the questions man

Hey bro, I also use other frontends. I also use Ecency and Hive. blog. I think I feel more comfortable and familiar with Peakd. And that's why I use it more. Even some curators like it more because it is more comfortable and familiar to them. That is my impression of the case.

If you wish, you can use Peakd, for when you want to share the link on Twitter or Discord.

Thank you so much for explaining my brother, and for introducing me into the new Web3 comeptition. If I ever win a prize, I will keep you in mind my brother as you look out for me and always help and support :) thanks man:)

I will try and join Peakd, I will also try to figure out a few things. I also heard that Peakd is easier for sending and withdrawing hbd and hive.

Cheers man :)

Brother, that is an excellent resource! I think I'll use it but with the mandolin, since I don't play any electric guitar.
