Whammy Bar Flutter - Guitar Lesson

You may have heard me (or many other guitarists) use this technique. There are several names to refer to this, but most commonly is the whammy flutter.

I try to break this down into a few simple steps. But, first of all, you will need a guitar with a whammy bar, or floating tremolo. Some bridges on guitars like stratocasters can also do this, but it does depend on how the bridge is setup. So, just keep that in mind :) either way, you can still have some fun!

So, in short, I was playing around on my 'strat' and sure do love spanking the Floyd Rose! I decided to upload a short lesson for anyone wondering how to do a whammy bar flutter :)

You may have heard this technique in the past by many awesome players such as Joe Satriani, Steve Vai, Eddie Van Halen and more. If you were ever wondering how to do it, well, here it is :)
