HIVE OPEN MIC 170 - CACAO - SUNSETHUNTER RETURNS
I am back! I am happy to be back here, it sure has been a while, but, the hiatus is over and now I am back in full swing and rejoining this awesome weekly music community again!:) Some of you might remember, I used to post very frequently into Hive Open Mic - well, here is my return!
Love this theme 'Cacao' - and of course, I think of Chocolate!:) well... what it better than one piece of chocolate... it is two! So, I have doubled the sweetness and created a guitar battle video with two of my favourite guitars!:) my question to you is... which one do you prefer?
You might recall a video of mine from a few weeks ago, a guitar battle - Strat vs Les Paul - well, here is round two!
Here is another contest! Another contest, of tone, expression, choice, acceptance and feeling! Well, actually I just decided to jam out on my 'strat' and Les Paul under the exact same conditions and see how they both sound and which you'd all prefer :) Last round was very close!!! It was all evens. Will we have a clear winner this time?
Let me add, I KNOW I do not have a real strat! It is an LTD SN200 - it's a strat style and have single coils. SO really, a battle of single coil vs humbucker, to be more precise! I'd say the Epi is a real Les Paul ;)

This smooth slow sounds amazing. I like how it fits you in time with the background beat. The change of guitars was great. I loved differentiating the different timbres of each one. You are brilliant brother. It's always nice to hear from you.

Bro, your frantic expressions while playing are too epic xD how amazing how playing the guitar like that makes your feelings turn into a tornado and you have to express by playing brutal and making faces.
I thought it was cool that you played a fast and loud solo for a soft and slow base, makes for an interesting contrast. Brutal as always bro 👏👏👏🎵🎶🤟.
