**HMF - WEEK 8 - ROUND 2 **

Here we go! Welcome back to another one of my guitar solos, and this time I am playing a guitar that I haven't made a video with in quite some time! This guitar is an LTD M-10 and is generally known as an 'entry level' guitar as it is very reasonable priced. As you can see I have customized it with many stickers!:) I think it looks great like this. Now, stickers are not the only customization I have done to this axe! I have juiced this up by installing some Seymour Duncan pickups. I purchased these pickups second hand, but brand new they actually cost more than the guitar haha! I made a video a few years ago about this titled 'is it worth upgrading a cheap guitar?' and my opinion was yes in this case. I really like the feel of this guitar, the neck fits very well into my hands and suits my playing style. I think that is really what it is all about! Some guitars can cost thousands - yes, of course I would love all of them haha, but some of these budget guitars sure do play well these days!

Be sure to stay to the end of the video! I have a secret outro for you all :) the first 2:20 is an improv guitar solo where I try to build it up and try some new ideas as I am going. Then, from 2:30 I wanted to try some cool tricks like tapping and harmonics, and I play with a little more energy! Which one did you prefer? More melodic, or more shred?! Let me know :)

I am slowly recovering from my spinal injury, I had a steroid injection into my lower back yesterday to try and help my disc recover and my sciatic nerve. Man, the past few weeks have been tough. Lots of pain and no sleep! I hope I don't need surgery, but if things do not improve then I will will be needing to... over Christmas! Ah well :) good times ahead!

I sure hope you enjoyed my playing! If you have any suggestions, please let me know :) I look forward to checking out everyones videos!

Peace and love to you all!

To listen to you is to travel to a space where I feel calm, untroubled, in fullness. It's fantastic the way you express your soul through the guitar. It's a whole show of melodies...
